The work I do is not merely a product of my vision, but of my client’s vision. It is the partnership between the creator and the subject which makes for some amazing results that both are proud to claim
as their own. My goal is to create meaningful content for the people around me and for my own ideas. I became interested in content creation when I founded my “first website”, myotaku.com/trekfolive. It was a anime fan account which allowed you to modify your profile vis–à–vis simply HTML posts (It is not longer up, trust me, you would’nt want to see it anyway). This was back in middle school, my coding knowledge was limited, my technical skills non-existent, but my passion was unyielding. As I moved into high school, I got my first computer, which I destroyed, and then learned how to fix. I went from a technical challenged to proficient in one, long, hard weekend. During sophomore year, one of my friend’s grew into moderate success on what was then a still young YouTube. Film making became the new object of obsession, and I went to buy a Casio point and shoot camera, $10 RadioShack tripod, and commenced to embarrass myself on the internet. At the same time, I began writing for another friend’s blog, The Archaic Pixel, a site that I still write for occasionally. During one semester, I did an independent film study, and bought my first manual control camera enabling me to dial in the aesthetics of each video frame with precision, but after the course completed, I released that my camera was primarily a photography camera. Focused in on the bueaty of a single frame, and did my first photo shoot in the deep cold North Atlantic snow, but is was a blast! Now, I combine all of these disciplines, writing, web content management, filmography and photography under Upbound, a recent creation of mine to host my work, and offer my services to you, the world! I am passionate about what I do, using these technologically diverse mediums to create stories, capture movements, and author critical written commentary and editorials. The core of what I hope to accomplish is, manifest the wishes of the people I work with, reflect some of my ideas, and provide a outlet for social expression. This is what I’m about. This is what UpBound is about.
