A white Christmas ❄️☃️ When I first moved to Seattle in 2020, my colleagues told me I’d have to get over the “3 year itch” in order to love the PNW (and it’s cold dark rainy winters). Lucky for me, Kev’s residency is… very long 🫠. 3 years later, we’ve finally started embracing the PNW. and taught us how to snowboard 🏂 and suddenly winter has a whole new meaning. They also took us camping 🏕️… we went white water rafting together … I don’t even recognize myself anymore.

I guess all that’s to say it’s never too late to try something new, and I should’ve had more of an open heart for our new home. For so long I felt so embarrassed to try new things because well, every beginner sucks. I’ve turned a new leaf trying to just enjoy my life. Not a single run without some sort of horrendous fall, but we’re just here for a good time 🎿❄️

It’s my 27th birthday🎂but more importantly… we also became the newest recipients of the cat distribution system 🐱 Never did we ever think we would be cat people, but my parents ended up finding a stray kitty at the park. Kitty then followed my parents home… there’s so much to this story I can’t wait to share it all in a YouTube vlog because truly it feels unbelievable.

Please welcome Lily to our family 🎀💕🐱 She’s 3 pounds and 10 weeks old! We are first time cat owners, so if you have any tips, please do leave them in the comments.

Years ago I put on my vision board that if I ever got to be in a room with all my favorite AAPI creators I’ll know that I “made it”. Not sure about the making it part but so grateful to for getting the community together for the inaugural AAPI gala. Thank you for having me ❤️

And in this life, people will have a lot to say about all of the things you did. And all the things you didn’t do. If you don’t prioritize work, you’re lazy. If you work too hard, you’re too ambitious and a try hard. If you put yourself first, you’re selfish. If you put others first, it was your fault for not speaking up. If you wear affordable items, you’re cheap. If you wear designer items, you’re superficial and fake.

Look in the mirror and start asking yourself what *you* want 🫶🏻 stop living for others. Tune out the noise around you, stay happy and healthy, and you’ll always be the winner ;)

Visited grandpa in Taiwan this week🥹🩵 we often think we have so much time… but forget that tomorrow is never promised.

In our 20s and 30s, many of us go through a phase of big life transitions that often also bring challenging shifts in maintaining family relationships. We prioritize our career, because well.. that’s what we were taught. Not to mention that life is incredibly expensive, and we feel the pressure to make ends meet.

But do the math. If you see your parents once a year, and they have 20 years left to live, you’ll only see them twenty more times in your life. That really makes you think…where are my priorities?

It doesn’t matter how hard you work, how much money you earn, how famous you are… if you didn’t show up when it mattered.

Your sign to call your parents, siblings, grandparents, and spend the time to go see them. If you fight, make up. It’s normal and okay to fight 🤣.
