“A faithful man will abound with Blessings” (Proverbs 28:20).
Our dad was not only faithful, but he was kind, patient, loving , humble, always peaceful, and generous. He was a provider, protector, and full of wisdom. He walked in so much favor because he exhibited the characters of Christ. We have never met any one like him, and We are humbled, and honored to call him Dad. He was a man of faith, the Word, and prayer. His legacy will never be forgotten because it lives on in us.
We pray you are able to join us to celebrate A LIFE WELL LIVED. Initially we asked for people to participate in the choir, but we will NOT have a mass choir this time around. Also, please note Masks are required.
We pray we will have an opportunity to thank each one of you, at the repast, for being a special part of our dad’s life.
For everything there is a season and a time for every matter under heaven. (Ecclesiastes 3:1). Thank you to each one of you who has taken the time to reach out to our family as we go through this season.
In the past week, we have had the honor of hearing so many stories about our Dad. If you would like to share any special memories you have had with him, please forward them to [email protected].
Finally, during the Celebration of Life service, we would like to praise God via the heavenly sound of a choir. Dad LOVED the choir! If you were ever a part of the Neighborhood Baptist Church Youth, Young Adult or Senior Choir, we would love for you to reunite to sing 2-3 of Dad’s favorite songs. Please reach out to Kim, or myself for additional information.

Early yesterday morning, Annie Lee’s final leg of her journey to THE ultimate healing transpired beautifully and peacefully in her sleep…as she desired. God, in His Sovereignty, decided Annie Lee’s totally healed and restored body would look better in a long white robe than a hospital gown. Yes we prayed, we fasted, we stood on the Word of God and heaven responded per God’s divine will. She is no longer suffering or in pain, but she is resting safely in the arms of Her Heavenly Father. Believe us when we say, GOD has been with her (and us) throughout this entire process…as He will continue to be. As a collective, Jehovah Shalom is allowing us to experience His unexplainable peace and comfort in ways we have never known.
We have been incredibly moved by all of your prayers, telephone/FaceTime calls, text messages and offers of support. THANK YOU! We will keep everyone informed regarding her Homegoing Celebration.
