ভারত-পাকিস্তান আন্তর্জাতিক সীমান্ত এবং নিয়ন্ত্রণ রেখা (এলওসি) বরাবর ২৬টি স্থানে ড্রোন দেখা গেছে। এর মধ্যে সশস্ত্র ড্রোন সন্দেহ করা হচ্ছে। এই স্থানগুলোর মধ্যে রয়েছে বারামুল্লা, শ্রীনগর, অবন্তীপোরা, নাগরোটা, জম্মু, ফিরোজপুর, পাঠানকোট, ফাজিলকা, লালগড় জাট্টা, জয়সলমের, বারমের, ভুজ, কুয়ারবেট এবং লাখি নালা।
দুঃখজনকভাবে, ফিরোজপুরে একটি সশস্ত্র ড্রোন একটি বেসামরিক এলাকায় আঘাত হানে, যার ফলে একটি স্থানীয় পরিবারের সদস্যরা আহত হয়েছেন। আহতদের চিকিৎসা সহায়তা প্রদান করা হয়েছে এবং নিরাপত্তা বাহিনী এলাকাটি জীবাণুমুক্ত করেছে।
ভারতীয় সশস্ত্র বাহিনী উচ্চ সতর্ক অবস্থায় রয়েছে এবং এই ধরনের সমস্ত আকাশ পথে আসা হুমকিকে ট্র্যাক করা হচ্ছে এবং অ্যান্টি-ড্রোন সিস্টেম ব্যবহার করে মোকাবেলা করা হচ্ছে। পরিস্থিতি নিবিড় এবং নিয়মিত পর্যবেক্ষণে রাখা হয়েছে এবং যেখানে প্রয়োজন সেখানে দ্রুত পদক্ষেপ নেওয়া হচ্ছে।
