Eclectic Currents An eclectic mix of indie and main stream music... (Whew!) This is another facet in my contribution to that evolution.

Eclectic Currents is the brainchild of Jonathan Hochberg, who has been in and around music and technology for all of his better-than-half century of existence. This latest project showcases all genres of music produced primarily by local independent labels or by the bands themselves, occasionally dipping in to major labels to provide a rich tapestry of sound. We live now during a renaissance of cr

eativity, inspired partly by the rapidly decreasing cost of production and distribution that allows for individuals or small groups to create and disseminate the fruits of their imagination with little effort to a global audience. Nothing like it in human history has come before, and it has the potential to change the culture of our entire civilization. EC can be heard on WRFI in Ithaca, NY at 88.1 FM, and in Watkins Glen, NY at 91.9 FM, and streaming world-wide at http://wrfi.org/online-stream from on Tuesday nights from 11:00 PM to 1:00 AM Eastern time.
