Amir Naghavi,aka AAMIROO, is a DJ and curator b. in 2000 in Tehran and is currently based in Berlin. His interest as a Dj lies in uncovering intersections between electronic and experimental sounds, incorporating diverse rhythms from across the globe. The genre bending repertoire of his music includes a fusion of percussive patterns from the Arab world, and Iran to Brazil, blended with breaks, garage, and some heavy bass. In collaboration with “Mikubat ” (a Vancouver-based Artist), AAMIROO is currently experimenting with introducing the underrated 1990s and 2000s pop music of Iran to the world of modern electronic dance music through a project called “SAHNEHTRONIX”.

Doci is a dentist turned DJ, is an emerging talent in the Iranian electronic music scene.
His music journey began with a deep passion for alternative bands like Nine Inch Nails
and Nirvana. As he explored the genre, he discovered electronic elements in the
projects of Thom Yorke and Trent Reznor, igniting his interest in electronic music.
Doci's musical journey took shape alongside his dental studies, where he balanced his
passion for dentistry with his love for DJing. Graduating as a dentist marked a
significant milestone for him, but DJing remained a separate and profound passion.
Doci's musical style is rooted in techno, influenced by his early fascination with
melodic and emotive electronic music. Inspired by the "Woman, Life, Freedom"
movement in Iran, his preference leans towards darker and protest-rooted techno,
reminiscent of the genre's origins in the early 90s. His mixes reflect his unique blend of diverse sounds and subgenres, ranging from IDM and bass music to breaks and jungle/drum & bass.

abji_hypersun is the moniker of Simin Stine Ramezanali, a visual artist and drummer, based in Copenhagen. Known from the doom punk trio SLIM0, the newly formed experimental electronic duo abolish i and co-founder of the music platform and label UUMPHFF-music.

abji_hypersun mixes fragments of d’n’b, breaks, memos, shoe-gaze and narrative story-telling. Untuning instruments, multiple voices and beats they move in between feelings of beauty, the funny, the scary, the loud (something in between nightmares and dreams).

Their music has extracts tropes drawn from the operatic and theatrical.

Mental health is a real and important issue in the music industry. It’s something that affects many musicians, and it’s an important matter we need to address as a community.

There is a need to support and stimulate a wider discussion about mental health among musicians throughout the industry.

We can work together to address the larger systemic issues in the industry that contribute to poor mental health.

A lightning rod in Vancouver’s underground nightlife, Innezz is known for detonating dancefloors with her multi-genre maelstrom of lively mixing. From peak time club bangers to psychedelic after-hours melters, her signature sound has matured into a high-energy blend of savvy selections both irreverent and intelligent.
INNEZZ has been trusted to open for Parris, Madame X, NKC, and Eddie C among many local and international headliners, and has made Bossa Nova Civic Club in NYC her latest fave spot to DJ as she expands her domain from coast to coast. Inspired by her indigenous North African roots, she started her B-Side radio show ‘Azul Radio’ (and soon-to-be record label) to highlight her keen ear for minimal and techno sounds of the North African diaspora. This makes for a potent global cross-pollination when paired with her love of dance music’s rich history.
INNEZZ truly is one to watch out for as she continues to push the boundaries of what is possible with futuristic sounds. While her debut EP is set to be self released on Azul Records, be sure to check INNEZZ’s Soundcloud in the meantime for a wide range of archived sets via notable mix series.

Kerub is the newest project by burgeoning Vancouver based electronic producer, singer, and composer Vi Levitt. Influenced by an interaction between internet culture, their classical training, and multiple interlocking vocal styles, KERUB’s music explores the idea of creating electronic sounds that are shaped by lived experiences of grief, queerness and continuity. They foster a unique brand of experimental synth pop with influences from hyperpop, to trip hop, to folk music. با تغییر ماهیتِ «پارتی کردن» به تجربه ای عمومی و حرفه‌ای تر، میهمانی‌های زیر زمینیِ ما به تجربه‌ی کلابینگ نزدیک تر شده اند. همین امر ما را موظف می‌کند به صورت مستقیم و با شیوه‌ای متناسب با فضاهای عمومی به تعریف یک سری قواعد رفتاریِ حداقلی بپردازیم. این در حالیست که عدم دسترسی ما به خدمات امنیتی و درمانیِ حرفه‌ای اهمیت تعریف و اجرای چنین قواعدی را بیشتر می‌کند. از اینرو بر همه‌ی ماست تا با مشورت و همفکری به دنبال راه حل باشیم. راه‌حلی برآمده از نظراتِ همه، اعم از میزبان و میهمان؛ چاره‌ای مناسب برای فضایی آکنده از ابهام که در آن مشخص نیست مسئولیت ایجاد امنیت بر عهده‌ی چه کسیست.
ما بسیاری از این نکات را پس از شنیدن‌ تجربیات افراد مختلف و با بررسی الگوهای مشابه که در نقاط مختلف دنیا برای ایجاد محیطی امن تر برای همگان به اجرا درآمده جمع آوری کردیم، تا در حد توان به ارتقا کیفیت تجربه جمعی کمک کرده باشیم. ما آگاهیم که این‌‌ مطلب پاسخی نوآورانه، جامع یا نهایی به این مقوله‌ی پیچیده نیست، اما خوشبینانه امیدواریم بستری برای آغازِ بحث مورد نیاز جهت رسیدن به یک راه‌حل را فراهم آورد.

Muqata'a - مُقاطعة is an electronic musician and MC based in Ramallah, Palestine. Creating sounds using sampled material, field recordings, and electronic devices, the results range between harsh beats, abstract tones, and glitch. He co-founded the Ramallah Underground Collective [2002-2009]. Muqata'a is also co-founder and member of the sound and image performance group Tashweesh alongside artists Basel Abbas and Ruanne Abou-Rahme. He has released several solo albums including; Inkanakuntu (2018) on Discrepant, Dubt Al-Ghubar (2017) on Third Type Tapes, La Lisana Lah (2017), and Hayawan Nateq (2013). Muqata’a has composed several film scores, as well as scores for dance-theatre performances, and is now working on different collaborative and solo projects.

obese.dogma777 (formerly Similarobjects) is a producer, musician, artist, educator and DJ from Manila, Philippines who has founded several cultural and community platforms in Manila including BuwanBuwan, a collective, community and label for hybrid electronic musicians; Cosmic Sonic Arts, a non-traditional electronic music mentorship program and school that focuses on music as a means of self-discovery and meditation, Manila Community Radio, an independent internet radio platform that aims to spotlight the manila scene on a global level whilst pushing diversity/inclusivity and Club Matryoshka, a Philippine-based International virtual venue hosted in Minecraft and established to enable a diverse and experimental set of artists to perform in a decolonized space that platforms and focuses on performers with non-white, LGBTQIA+, female, and neurodivergent majority lineups.
