WCUR IS HOSTING A BLOCK PARTY! On Friday April 29th we will have live music from 1-5:30pm and a local music showcase from 6-9pm (both will be held in the academic quad)! On Saturday April 30th from 12-8pm we will have a field day in Ram Park with carnival style games and from 8-10:30 pm we will have a movie night in the academic quad! From Friday April 29th at 6pm to Sunday May 1st at 6pm we will be hosting a 48 hour live broadcast! Non stop music, entertainment, and fun all weekend long! OUR DJ OF THE WEEK 🥁🥁🥁🥁Courtney Medwin! Courtney is a sophomore studying media and culture with a minor in nutrition. Her show is called “Life by the Beach” with who she shares with on Tuesdays from 7-8. Her favorite band of all time is Cage the Elephant, and is also currently is loving Anderson Park. When she’s not on the mic, she is on the lacrosse field, or helping out with WCU Weekly. Lastly, a fun fact about her that she’s from Florida!☀️ Keep up the good work, Courtney!
