OOPS He did it again!!. Congratulations once again to Ranj Kaler Music as his remix of Delta9 x Kin Izaguirre “Red Dwarf” has landed at the top of the Electronica Hype Chart today. This comes after his remix for our sister label hit the same summit back in April.

Our next release sees a revisit to a track from a collaboration made in Mexico entitled “Red Dwarf” from Delta9 x Kin Izaguirre featuring three brand new reinterpretations from the UK’s Ranj Kaler with another melodic progressive breaks workout, then we have Australian producer Herringbone (aka Michael King). The third and final rendition comes from Ukrainian producer / dj. Nelin now based in Barcelona.

A milestone that was never envisaged when Stripped Digital was established almost 19 years ago (September 2005) has now been reached. Our 400th (single / ep) release is here. For this special occasion we are revisiting our recent offering Sergio Vilas x Amber Long “Separation” which recieved a whole lot of love from Hernan Cattaneo amongst others. Hernan himself had a hand in one of the remixers appearing on the release. These are the reasons why artists who care about their music use ‘real’ Mastering Engineers for their records.

When you use an experienced engineer, you’re not just paying for them to master your tracks. You’re getting a fresh set of ears to listen to your music in an objective way.

You’re receiving feedback from someone that’s heard and worked on countless records and someone that knows how a record should sound on all platforms and not just on a big system.

You’re having your tracks mastered on a proper, full range system, in an acoustically treated room, using high end gear.

You’ll receive creative input, variations, dialogue on the sonic aspect and intention of the record itself.

‘Dialogue’ is key between the engineer and the artist, and using the right engineer leads to feedback such as this.

Once you find an engineer that shares your vision, then stick with them.

You don’t get this with anything other than a real, experienced engineer.

We are excited to bring you our first artist album of 2024 which comes from Soul Code entitled “Revival” and is the brainchild of Justin Steel a British born producer / dj who resides in Amsterdam, Netherlands. This album is 10- track musical journey and an eclectic one at that covers a cross genre blend of electronica, breaks, drum and bass, melodic house & techno. The album was produced and mixed entirely in his home studio before being delivered to the UK for mastering by the label long time engineer Rob Small who gave the project it’s final coat perfectly. Brazilian producer/dj Waltervelt returns to Stripped Recordings for this his third single “Special Is My Mind” which follows his two hits for us “Reborn Galactica” (2022) and last summer “Mutation Rotation”.

Waltervelt brings his peak time dancefloor prowess which has seen favour with some the worlds top spinners, he has always been connected to art from a young age collecting cassette tapes and CDs since expressing his a love for Electronic Music which grew from listening to contemporary techno down to revolutionary artists such as Kraftwerk. A lot of effort was then put into his craft and it all came together in 2016 when James Rodrigo De Souza gave birth to his production alter-ego Waltervelt. His productions have been featured in the sets of some of the worlds finest players including Maceo Plex who was instrumental in bringing his sound to a wider audience through his Ellum Audio imprint and Solomun through his Diynamic imprint and Marc Romboy via Systematic Recordings. Waltervelt has now embedded himself in the Stripped family.

Was hard to keep this one quiet!

It was an absolute honour to have been able to master Michael Gray (Official)'s remix of what is one of my all time favourite Jamiroquai tracks.

As a massive fan of the band and of Michael, this was a proper fan boy moment 😂

I’ve worked with Michael Gray (Official) for quite a few years now and as an engineer it’s not often that you’re able to work so closely with an artist that you grew up listening to on a daily basis. Michael’s chart-topping 2004 classic ‘The Weekend’ is a track I think everyone spent many years listening to, whether that be from constant rotation (even to this day!) on the radio, to being featured on compilations, or played out in clubs, and he still releases quality music on the likes of Glitterbox, Defected, Altra Moda and more. Michael really is a super talented artist and to receive a pat on the back from him means a lot both personally and professionally. Thanks for Carl Craig for sharing this. I remember mastering this track back in 2013 for a label called Serkal based in the States. The label released some really incredible House/Techno. It was an amazing track back then but to see the master Derrick May working it the way he is here makes the record sound completely different; Skills. There’s Dj’s, then there’s Dj’s.... This video was taken from the Kappa Futur Festival back in 2014 although still sounds fresh today.
