The Pokhara Literature Festival (PLF) is a significant cultural event that celebrates literature, arts, and intellectual discourse in Pokhara, Nepal. One of the highlights of this festival is the awarding of the Yasodhara PLF Book Prize, which honors outstanding contributions to literature.

The Yasodhara PLF Book Prize includes a unique and symbolic element in its award: an old coin of 1 paisa. This coin is likely a token of cultural heritage and historical value, representing the rich history and traditions of Nepal. The inclusion of such a coin adds a meaningful and tangible connection to the country's past, complementing the recognition of literary excellence.

We are proud to announce that this year's Yasodhara PLF Book Prize is awarded to Writer and Poet Saraswati Pratikshya. Her work exemplifies the spirit of literary excellence that the Yasodhara PLF Book Prize aims to celebrate.
