It’s a bittersweet moment, closing up shop after 7 years. I’ve loved being an independent publisher. I’m grateful to have had the opportunity to write and publish cookbooks I wanted to see come to life, and I’m so proud that they’ve become trusted go-tos in many of your homes.
Keeping things real: I’m also sad to see “The Lemonade Stand Cookbook” and “The 8x8 Cookbook” go out of print. I’ve tried to avoid it for the past few years, but in the end I don’t have the sales support required to keep non-new (we don’t say “old”!), indie titles in front of retailers and consumers in a very traditional industry.
THANK YOU for all of your support along this adventure! For backing my Kickstarters, testing recipes, helping me find amazing collaborators, buying books for all of your kids, nieces, nephews, and in-laws. For texting me photos of the dishes you’ve made, and your happy, triumphant faces. 😁 It’s made this journey so worth it.
