Good morning! I’m excited to be heading to Mississippi this weekend for another Racelogic Chassis School. And I got lucky once again to be upgraded to first class on the plane. This is seriously going to be my best year yet!

From snowshine (-13 degrees) to partly cloudy (47 degrees). I’m here for it.

While I boarded the flight this morning, it was uncertain whether we’d be making the trip. No other flights were leaving Moline. On our plane, both bathrooms were out of order. One was just frozen, so they were able to fix it.

The first tow vehicle couldn’t budge the plane to move us off the gate, so they had to bring out some heavier equipment.

Then the plane needed to be de-iced.

It was all a process.

I’m grateful to all of the hardworking people who helped our plane get into the air.

I had an amazing time this weekend at the Hickory Christmas Show, the Gala, and the Festival of Trees. So many thanks to the sponsors, including Hendrick Honda Hickory, Catawba Valley Staffing, along with Gina Bowman Bumgarner, the organizations who decorated trees, the amazing vendors, and everyone who helped pull this together. Jimmy Schiltz and I are excited to create an even bigger event next year.

Great time with great friends! Beer Fest at the Sousley’s was so much fun. I tasted some different beers, the brats were amazing, spent time with friends, and met some wonderful people.

I decided to make it a weekend.

I saw Barbie yesterday and Oppenheimer today.

I’m shocked to say this, but the Barbie movie had a stronger impact on me than Oppenheimer with its actual atom bombs.
