Friend, this is why your makeup doesn’t look natural.
It’s because you’re forcing these products and colors on your face and not going with the flow. Let me explain.

Let’s say, your favorite celebrity posted an orange lipstick by a popular brand she’ll be wearing this spring and because it looks good on her, you buy it for yourself. Oh yeah, Your favorite celebrity is about 1-2 shades lighter than you.

Fast forward to the day you put it on… you KNOW it does not compliment your tone and/ or style… but because she is wearing it, you’re going to wear it.

That’s forcing.

BUTTTT…

Let’s say, your favorite celebrity posts the orange lipstick and instead of you going to buy the exact one (that looks perfect on her), you go shopping for YOUR perfect orange…

That’s flowing.

And…Yes, that brand and color is “trending” right now AND you probably want to ride the wave with everyone else ( there’s nothing wrong with wave riding), but if they don’t carry a color that compliments your tone and style, there are 50 other trending brands out there that might.
