Apologies to our listeners and fans - after ramping things back up late last year, Life decided to toss me some curveballs in a "Let's keep things interesting" sorta way. Family emergencies, surprise projects and monkeys on my back... that's been the first half of the year for me. Thanks for understanding - I hope to work on some new podcasts for late summer - there's so much amazing music out there and I'm dyin' to share it with you! OK - back to the coffee... and microphone... and insurance companies. I see you, 2024.

Based in Lyon, France, Ultimae Records is a music label founded by AES Dana and Sandrine Gryson back in 1999. A good portion of my personal ambient library consists of some incredible works from Ultimae's artists, and you can sample music from Carbon Based Lifeforms, Solar Fields, Cell, Connect.Ohm, Martin Nonstatic and many more in Radio Mystic's podcasts. If you're into deep ambient, IDM, dub techno, atmospheric, electronic and cinematic music, I can't recommend the works on the Ultimae label enough!

26 years ago, this game was released. Imagine wandering through a mysterious world accompanied by an amazing ambient soundtrack while you solve puzzles and unravel the mystery of the ages... RIVEN has been a staple in my gaming library since then, and Cyan Inc. is working on a full remake of this groundbreaking work that features real-time full 3-D exploration. I highly recommend the soundtrack!

Podcasts require large amounts of caffeine, supplemented with Italian pastry. It's a difficult life, I know. Working on next week's return of the X3 Ambient show, assisted by a LindasDolci PISTACCHIOSO (Espresso, pistachio cream, fresh whipped cream, cocoa powder), large cup of fresh brewed black coffee, and some Apple-pecan pasticcini to get in the Fall mood. Be jealous of me.
