We recently initiated an exciting new sync partnership with the label Flora & Fauna based in Stockholm, Sweden. You might have heard a few tracks from their incredible catalog in our Spring playlist, but we wanted to delve deeper into some of their releases with this new collection. Featuring incredible instrumental, ambient, downtempo, Balearic, leftfield, neo-classical, electro, and folk - this subtle and sumptuous roster of artists can truly take you elsewhere. It’s transportive, immaculately recorded music and we’re so honored to represent it for sync ongoing.

Every season we send out a curated playlist of newly added titles to our licensing catalog. This spring, we’re incredibly pumped to present this new batch of tunes. Featuring high energy stuff from some of our favorites like Fritzwa , Avila Santo , & cadeu as well as brand new roster folks David Blazer , Dualist Inquiry , Azayaka , and selections from the incredible Swedish label Flora & Fauna whose eclectic neo-classical and electronic stable of composers have been making understated and atmospheric gems since the late 90s.

We wanted to share a slightly different batch of new work with you this quarter. Music with a softer, dreamy, open-hearted tone. Of course, we still included a few out-and-out jams to round out the collection - more than a few brand new voices to our roster are represented. We’re so thrilled to bring these folks into the mix.

It’s a very interesting time for music right now and we see brands and storytellers getting bolder and bolder with their choices, fully unlocking the potential for music as a key ingredient in the way we piece identity and human connection together.

Our incredibly fun project with and picked up the award in the YouTube single platform category as well as Audience Honors in the both the YouTube and Entertainment categories. PLUS we were a finalist in the Branded Content category. So much fun to see this project soar! Congrats to everyone involved and thanks to the !!!

The Only Murders in the Building Ambient Rooms project we scored and sound designed won a Digiday Content Marketing Award for “Most Innovative Use of Content”!!
So cool to have a project that heavily hinged on the audio environment and a musical bread crumb trail that tapped into fan’s love of the show. Big cheers for out friends and partners and

West Channel is thrilled to have the campaign we worked on for Hulu's hit show Only Murders in the Building as a finalist for a Shorty Award in the branded content category!!

We did original music, immersive sound design, and mix for the 3 hour-long ambient rooms based on the apartments of the characters in the hit show. The response has been incredible for these. We worked in collaboration with the show's wonderful composer Sid Khosla and based the music on central melodic and harmonic themes from the score. We even got to mix vocals for the show's stars Steve Martin, Martin Short, and the great Selena Gomez.

Such a smart idea and ex*****on from the team at Google with extra appreciation to our pals at , Karen Hart, Brian Ranes and the incredible animation team especially Megan Barbour Emily Collins.

Special Event!
Tonight at the Guggenheim, West Channel will be playing music from the Alex Katz commission as a temporary immersive audio installation in the museum rotunda. This is a Gugggenheim members only event, but consider becoming a member and you could experience this beautiful music with a private view of this monumental, thrilling retrospective.

Incredibly fun new project now out in the world for Boston Dynamics created in partnership with the always inventive and rad Vagrants

Our founders Mike & Peter both took the helm on this one providing original score, arranging, sound design & mix. A very special shout out to and for the killer horn parts on the cover of “It Had to Be You”. Extra points for anyone who can guess which version of It Had To Be You we were inspired by for this project :):) 🤔

What a joy to make these super custom, deeply crafted stories like this for next level brands thinking hard about their marketing in new and fun ways.
