There are so many things I want to say but to spare you a long drawn out multi paragraph post I’ll just say this weekend was in many ways the start of a new chapter for me. No longer do I sit around wishing/waiting to be discovered. No longer do I bitch about not having the right gear. I have talent and now I just show up and get the reps in because anything less is counter productive to the end goal which is taking photos at concerts without having to hide it or only bring in point and shoots. It’s something I’ve loved to do as far back as I can remember. Perhaps a 7hr drive to SC is a bit extreme but I love Charleston and I’ll take seeing as many times as I can because his shows are always must see. I’ll keep adding photos to my portfolio and open as many doors as I possibly can. If you made it this far just know that if you have a passion for something don’t wait around, don’t sit on it. You’ll only have regret. Keep pushing!

2 hours in the car going down, froze my ass off and got soaked in the wind and pouring rain and I’d do it again in a heartbeat. Let me tell you about , I’ve been following this guy for 5 years now and he is passionate about what he does, he puts everything he’s got into it and then some but after tonight I gained an entirely new respect for this man. A show like this could have easily been cancelled, postponed etc but not only was it not cancelled, this man came to the very edge of the stage where the wind and rain was pouring down on him and he and his band gave 110%. He jumped down off the stage right to the barrier to be close to all of us who stood out there with him. He fed off the energy and pushed through an incredible set. These are the kind of people you want to root for, you want to see take it all the way and mark my words he will! So I want you to do me a favor if you’ve made it this far to the caption. Follow this man, stream some of his music and go see him live if you get the chance. You will not be disappointed.

Meeting @losing_with_love & @tacos_gets_fit while on vacation in Charleston was always the plan, however they made the mistake of telling me ahead of time where they were so @iamheathercantrell and I showed up to surprise them. Shoutout to the Under Armour store in North Charleston for being so cool to let us chat for over an hour. We'll be meeting up over this weekend to do a podcast which will be released in the future!
