Dear members of The Hockey Writers' Club,

We are excited to announce some important updates within our committee. First and foremost, we want to express our deepest gratitude to Susan Edghill and Mike Haymonds for their dedicated service as Treasurer and Membership Secretary. We wish them all the best in their future endeavours.

Following our recent AGM, we are pleased to announce that Andy Mair (Umpire Cam) will continue in his role as Secretary, alongside Rod Gilmour and Lynne Morgan who have been voted to remain on the committee. Additionally, we are thrilled to welcome four new members to our team: Simon Webb, Nikki Lloyd, Tao MacLeod, and Ben Saunders.

Simon Webb brings a wealth of experience as an avid hockey fan, coach, photographer, and journalist. He has previously contributed to Push Hockey Mag and Hockey World News, and also hosts 'The Hockey Family' Podcast.

Nikki Lloyd, a former Scotland international with 130 Caps, now serves as a leading colour commentator for the FIH Pro-League.

Tao MacLeod, Editor at The Half Court Press, is also a podcaster and coach, bringing valuable insights to our committee.

Lastly, Ben Saunders, with over 15 years of experience in sports journalism, currently serves as the Assistant Sports Editor at The i Paper.

We are excited for the fresh perspectives and expertise that our new committee members bring, and we look forward to working together to continue to grow and strengthen The Hockey Writers' Club.

Thank you to all of our members for your continued support.

Sincerely,

Jade Bloomfield
Chairman
The Hockey Writers' Club
