Happy Wednesday friends! How is it December 11th already?! I am mostly finished with decorating and shopping, but I still have wrapping and baking to do. Where are you at with your Christmas to-do list?

My dining room is definitely all decked out this year! Most everything you see here is from Hobby Lobby. I was just there on Saturday and was surprised at how many empty shelves there were! I’ve also been into Target, Michaels, and Menards. They all are pretty much sold out. I guess people in Casper are definitely in the decorating spirit this year! How are your stores holding up? ❤️🎄❤️

Well, hello friends! It’s been awhile and I’ve missed chatting with you! Hope everyone is well and enjoying the most wonderful time of the year so far. I am pretty much done with the decorating portion and moving on to presents and baking. Have you finished your Christmas decor yet? I’m sure most of you have even finished your shopping and wrapping, too. I feel a little behind, but it’s all good. Hope you are having an amazing Wednesday! ❤️🎄❤️

Happy Friday friends!! I’m continuing with the cowboy birthday party post today. I hope you aren’t tired of seeing all of it yet. Today is birthday cake and the bar area decor. I felt very fortunate that I took the best cowboy picture of MJ prior to his birthday. Shelby took that photo and got so creative coming up with “wanted” posters! It made the perfect backdrop! I included a closeup so you can read what she wrote. The cake was made by a local cake shop (and was super yummy!) We made the cake stand out of a trunk from Hobby Lobby. Kyle (our son in law) made it look like an old Wells Fargo bank box. We used money bags and chocolate gold coins to set the scene of a stage coach robbery.😆 The bar area was where we kept our “snake oil liniment!” (aka…root beer) Shelby designed that sign and labels, too! We found a meme where you can find your cowboy name so she named this “snake oil” after MJ’s cowboy name. Hope you all have a great weekend!🤠❤️🤠

Hello friends! Happy Wednesday!! Last week I shared how we decorated my dining room for my grandson’s Wild West birthday party. Today, I wanted to share some of the finger foods we served. I found a cute design on Canva to use for the labels. The robbers loot were Oreos spray painted with an edible gold paint. The cowboy hats were Pringles dipped in chocolate with a Rolo on top. I used a few of my cast iron pans as vessels for chips and dip. This turned out to be my most favorite tablescape ever! ❤️🤠❤️

Howdy and happy Friday! I have something a little different to share today. A couple weeks ago our oldest grandson turned 4 and requested a cowboy birthday party. We had the most fun planning this one! I loved it so much that I wanted to share with you some of the pictures from that amazing day. I couldn’t pick just a few to share, so I’m going to share the different areas in different posts. Today I’m sharing what our dining room looked like. (I will share food/labels in another post.) We turned our dining table into a covered wagon and the buffet table into a “saloon.” My husband made a “water well” which was for our ice bucket. I hope you enjoy! 🤠

Happy first day of Spring!!🌸 We are definitely celebrating over here because it actually feels like spring here in Casper (at least for the next few days!) Winter will be back next week.😆 The boys and I were able to spend all morning playing in the backyard. Something we haven’t been able to do for months! Even this photo bomber was happy today (Jack the dog.) Does it feel like spring where you live?💐

Who needs a Frame TV when you have YouTube! I was searching for a way to make my tv look like art without spending any money. I was searching free spring tv art on YouTube and came across this gem. It even had this beautiful frame, too! Have you ever searched YouTube for tv art? There are so many beautiful pictures for all seasons and holidays! Hope you all are having an amazing Friday!💐

Ahhh, Monday! The day I add all the things I didn’t get done last week to this week’s list. I’ve been trying to get a few spring cleaning chores done before the weather gets warmer so we can enjoy the outside. I did add a few bunnies around the house. Baby Max is always pointing to the one in this picture. I think he must like it.❤️ Do you have a spring cleaning list you are currently working on? We can commiserate together. Hello friends! I hope your Monday has been amazing so far!❤️ I was needing something to fill this corner, but there wasn’t any room for a furniture piece. (I really wanted one of those viral arch cabinets 😩) A tree was really my only solution. I finally found an olive tree and planter that I loved and I only went a little above my budget.😆 This tree from QVC is 6’ tall and I was able to elevate it a little more in this planter from Home Depot. I still need to add some moss to cover the opening. I’m trying to find faux plastic moss that the baby won’t get into, but I’m not having much luck. I’ll share my exact tree/planter in stories. Next up for this area will be artwork. Also… who’s counting down the days until time changes again? 🙋🏼‍♀️ I can’t wait to have more daylight in the evening.🌞

Happy Friday friends! I finally have a bathroom update! I hesitated to share this now because it’s not finished. Lol! The fact that I am able to shower in my own bathroom feels amazing! We have been using our guest shower for 6 months!😳 We still do have a few more things to do before it’s completely finished. The vanity area still needs updating, along with decor, benches, and an area rug. I think I smile every time I walk in this space now.🥳 Swipe to see what the space looked like before. Awhile back I talked about some items that I got through a local online auction. Well, I scored more loot! Lol! The lot that I won had these two crystal candle holders! After an internet search I found out they are worth about $40. Swipe to see the pitcher that was in the same lot. I was looking for a nice pitcher to keep out on my counter to water all the things. It’s worth about $20 to $30. I only paid $5 for everything! This is just a reminder to look into your local online auctions! They can be a great resource for great, quality home decor and essentials. I managed to score the last two Hearth and Hand pink sedum stems at my store. They are so pretty and I like the way they look with my eucalyptus stems. I would have liked a couple more, but Target’s shipping isn’t the greatest (for me, anyway.) I’ve had several packages arrive damaged with things missing. They are always good at refunding the money, but sometimes it’s just not worth the hassle. Have you had good luck with your Target orders? Hope you all are having a great Tuesday! (Also thinking of my California friends. Hopefully you are safe from all the flooding.🙏)

Hello friends! Do you notice anything different? I found a cabinet! It’s not my dream piece, but it checked most of the boxes. Literally two days after I shared I was having a hard time finding something, this cabinet showed up in my feed! I had been looking for about two years! Happy Tuesday!! We are finally above zero today! Yay! What has the weather been like where you live? At one point our feels like temperature was -54!

On another note, I am having such a hard time finding a piece of furniture to go under my television. I really need closed storage because babies like to empty the books from the shelves.😆 Trying to find something with real wood, the right size, and is also budget friendly, has been a challenge. I need it to be under $500, but I’m only finding pieces that are over $2000! Guess I might have to DIY something when it gets warmer (garage is too cold. Lol!) Sorry for being so chatty today.😆 Hope you all have a great evening!❤️

Happy Wednesday friends! One of my favorite photos I have is of Devils Tower. It's located in the northeast corner of Wyoming. It's definitely worth the visit. It's fun to walk the trails and learn the history. Sometimes you can even spot rock climbers! Regarding home decor, I highly recommend enlarging a favorite photo you took and displaying it. It adds a touch that is unique to only you and your family.❤️❤️❤️

Why is it so hard to get back in a routine after Christmas? 😆 I have most of my Christmas decorations put away and am enjoying a less cluttered home. I do miss all the twinkling lights, though. How about you? Have you taken down your Christmas decor yet? I left a few wintery stems and some extra candles out. Hope you all have a great weekend!❤️
