An often overlooked key component of introducing solids to your baby ?

Making sure they are dry, comfortable and are enjoying sitting in their diaper !

We continue to place our trust in Cuties Cuties Baby Care to ensure that our little guy is free of irritation and dry during our meal times. [Ad]

Introducing solids / purees has been a breeze with baby boy. (His sister refused pretty much everything until the 11+ month mark). Baby #2 on the other hand gobbles everything up.

BLW ? Yes ! We do a combination of BLW concepts as well as traditional "baby food" to ensure that he is getting a fair share of tastes and more importantly sensory opportunities.

▫️Food Introduction Tip #1

We do not bring anything to his mouth and instead allow for him to do everything himself. Cue sensory... cue mess.... cue dexterity ... cue developing fine motor skills. When complimenting BLW with purees at mealtime I place the food on the spoon and give the spoon to little man so that he can grip the spoon and bring it to his mouth at his own pace.

Embrace the mess ! Avoid wiping your little ones face during mealtime or making a fuss over things being dropped / smeared. It is going to happen - enjoy this stage of things !
