I don't know about most authors, but I don't read reviews of my work.
I have five books listed on Amazon---all of them 4.5 or 5 stars --- and have never read one of the reviews.
Why?
I'm a chicken!
I put everything I have into crafting my books and creating characters who I hope will carve a permanent place in reader's hearts. While critiques of those efforts could possibly improve my writing skills, they would definitely wound my author's soul.

In monitoring the Beauty & Grace downloads over the last two days, I have continually scrolled past the reviews---until last night.
It was incredible to read the things people said about this book---and to realize that everything I hoped in writing the story had come true. Readers value the story, and cherish the characters, especially Teagan.

So, thank you American Legacy Book Awards for choosing Beauty & Grace as a 2024 Finalist.
