Doesn't it feel GOOD to start fresh?
Hi Friends! Summer has been wonderful, full of a whole lotta goodness.
I'm back in the new studio, which I built out in spring, and giving a personal short update to everyone to kick off the "fall season"
I'll be talking 6 months alcohol free, what's going on right now and what I want to connect with folks on, and finally, an update on what I'll be sharing and offering for everyone for your media creation and podcast needs this fall.
Feeling very positive today.
Excited for a nearly full client base for summer and to get to help support TWO launches!
Speaking of launches… the next part of 30 days of Podcasting coming this week!! Finally settled in and stoked for work!

Gritty Birds Tiny Home Studio FINISHED!
It's time for the studio reveal!
A home recording studio can look MANY ways.
I've taken my tiny home and turned it a professional and cozy space. It's optimal for filming, and adapted for guest, clients and the hours of editing it takes to create great content for myself and others.
Welcome to the tour!
Does sound matter?
Let me tell you a story.. about SOUND.
⏯Does sound matter? You bet.
🤯Our brains frankly have only so much energy.
❌And it ADDS UP.
🎤We, as creators, need to understand how that fact affects our listeners.
You owe it to them to at least consider.
Social Media for Your New Podcast Pt 1
If you want to expand your reach to NEW folks, you need social media.
These are the BASICS you need on your channels when you are setting your podcast.
The more exciting elements of your podcast and social media journey will continue, but for now.. just get them set up!
Are you new to video editing/reels and want to use it for your biz?
The app I’ve used for last 5 years is InShot!
In Pt.1, I show you how to do a super simple basic transition.
Something as simple as transition reels can help you utilize Instagram to it’s fullest.

You’re linktree isn’t enough. Your podcast needs a website.
One of the greatest tools we have, it’s often overlooked with podcasters.
This early on, our goal is to create just enough to start collecting email addresses, create a home people can see off social media and as a home for your future trailer.
These are the early steps you want to do, to set your website up for success.

Hi podcasters! I ended up going full on production for Day 6!
Today is all about starting the roll with online marketing: website, email lists and social media.
The launch process tends to move at it’s own pace, which is why it was fitting Day 6 took 3 days.

Who else can relate?!? That feeling when the look is just perfect is hard to beat!
The last couple days I have been trashing most of my footage. Filming at midnight? That’s a hard no!
In podcasting, especially launches, making space to nail your creative is worth it.
Especially while you are building up your social media.
Like here! So far this guide is out to just a few folks. By the time people start to see it, we should be on a roll. ;)
For the 30 Days guide, expect new videos every day to two.

Branding is not just about our visuals, it’s also sound.
Often when we think about our episode intros, we consider what will end up in our trailer.
Yes, a big part of it IS our shows story, which includes our “I am Statement”.
But it’s also why we chose the music we did and why we choose the voice who says the intro.
Shout out to Jodi Krangle of the Audio Branding Podcast who spoke at @thepodcastersforum February event.
You can hear more on audio branding on her show as well as on her interview in our Fb group for The Forum.
Did you consider audio branding when you made your intros?

As I was thinking about Cover Art.. I realized I had not updated my profile pics from just the logo..
For 6 years!!
I love using Canva, which made creating these logos animations super simple.

Branding!!
Early on, the sights and sounds that define your brand, help make the whole process real.
Your fonts, colors, logo, filters, aesthetic, will give cues to potential listeners and create cohesion.
These days there are some great resources to help you clarify vision based on what other successful brands have done.
What is a trend you see in the brand kit of others in your niche?
