How many times do we give others grace and we don’t give ourselves grace? Something I have been learning in this season is to give myself more grace.
I’ve learned to take time to pause, reevaluate the season and see what needs to take priority right now in this current moment. It’s not always going to be like it is. I’m learning to embrace and live life to the fullest in every single moment 🤍

Moving to Tulsa was one of the hardest decisions I have had to make. I was only planning on being here a year or two. But the longer I’ve been here the more God has spoken to me and molded me for what is yet to come. It hasn’t always been easy, I miss being closer to my family and many times wish my dad was in town to help me with what seems like everything.😆 But today I celebrate 1️⃣1️⃣ years of being in Tulsa! I wouldn’t trade it for anything! God has blessed me with the most amazing community of friends! They show up for me whenever I need it and encourage me in all that I do. I prayed for years to have the friendships I have now. Wonderful Pastors and a great church! A job that I love to go to everyday and allows the flexibility to still serve at church! But most of all He’s given me vision and dreams for the future. 11 years happened in a blink of an eye, but so much has happened in that time and I am so thankful that I listened to God’s call for my life. I’m excited to see what the future holds and the journey I am going to have along the way!

5 years of having a YouTube channel and doing social media content. This was never the dream, but over the years I felt led to share more about my life, faith and relationships and that’s how my YouTube channel started. Through the first year I realized what people wanted to hear was about relationship advice. I never wanted my “niche” to be the girl talking about singleness and dating advice, but it is the season I’m in and saw the need to encourage others in the same season. Over the 5 years I’ve made some changes and focused more on podcasting, rebranded my podcast and even started writing children’s books. But the vision still stays the same of encouraging others to live their life to the fullest while sharing my experiences along the way. One of my favorite things has been the guests I’ve had the opportunity to interview! So thankful they took a chance on me to help share their story. I’m so thankful for people like who took a chance on me and helped me with editing and taking my channel to the next level. who helped me get started in the podcast world. My friend who takes all of my photos for branding. A big thank you to the friends and family that have continued to support me. I don’t need the likes and comments but they continue to encourage me to keep doing what I’m doing. Not sure what is in store for this next year, but one thing is for sure. I am going to continue to do what God has called me to do and encourage others along the way. “Spring: a lovely reminder of how beautiful change can truly be.”🌷- unknown

I have had to learn that change can be a good thing. Like when I get to change into pajamas and out of my work clothes at night. That is an amazing change!

Over the last few years God has really revealed and has shown me that change is good and is an opportunity for growth. Because something that is constant in our life is change.

I feel like we compare change to seasons. You know when Spring is coming because the trees and flowers start blooming.

That is a change that we expect to see every year.

When I was in a season of what felt like no change, all I wanted was change to happen! But I wasn’t seeing it.

So the scripture I started holding onto was,

Amos 9:13-15 (msg), Yes, indeed, it won’t be long now, God’s decree. Things are going to happen so fast your head will swim, one thing fast on the heels of the other. You won’t be able to keep up. Everything will be happening at once and everywhere you look, blessings! Blessings like wine pouring off the mountains and hills. (Be Ready)

This scripture in Amos that I held onto said, things are going to happen so fast, and everywhere you look blessings. And I kept waiting for it.

Well soon that’s what I started to see.

It took years for me to see that change taking place and happening. And I had heard a sermon say, “We wait on what we value.”

If that change would’ve happened in an earlier season I don’t think I would’ve been prepared for all the change I had. He was equipping me for this change. Even when I didn’t think like any changes were happening.

Get ready for the change! 🌷✨
