A Franco-British pinnacle.
Long-time London resident, French musician Marc O surprised everyone by releasing his first solo album in his mother tongue, collaborating with his philosopher brother Bruno Pons Levy, author of all the cryptic lyrics on the album. Which earned the singer an unprecedented success (for a French-speaking album) on his adopted lands where the latter was recorded. A Franco-British pinnacle, a musical crunch all by itself. And a success deserves so much “L’homme de l’ombre” is distinguished by his superlative quality, faithful to tradition, he hovers there like an air of “Melody Nelson” ("Le test de la femme à barbe") yet totally innovative . Because if Marc O is inspired by the best sources, it is to better find the sound that is personal to him, successfully amalgamating between glam guitars ("Le Dissymètre") and dark and disturbing industrial synthetic layers ("Rendons le leurre" ). And all in French! A captivating work, hats off, Mister O!

I’m very proud to present to you BELLE SCAR’s latest work that I’ve produced and mixed at Plastic Sound. “Where Do We Begin” is the first song taken from the forthcoming album “Atoms”.
An album that Belle Scar and I worked on intensively for the past months. This first track is a taste of what is to come.
This new single is about maintaining one’s sanity in the fearful uncertainty of the present day. A subject that might resonate in many of us. With her uniquely powerful voice and singular songwriting, Belle Scar will take you on an emotional journey.

The song and vocal arrangements were written by Belle Scar, the strings score & music production by yours truly and a guest appearance of my partners in crime, Sami Yaffa on bass and Christophe Deschamps on drums.
