Today was our last day of summer break! ☀️ How do you feel about back to school? 🍎 Sawyer is hysterical and can’t believe he “has to waste his life at school.” Lincoln is cheerful, looking forward to seeing her friends. Paul is teaching a new class this year so he’s been working extra hard getting ready for his students tomorrow. ✏️ I have mixed feelings as I love summer fun but am ready for a routine. I am anxious about Luna starting preschool Thursday, but also know it will be good for both of us. 🥹 I will definitely miss all the water fun so I’ll have to post all the gems I haven’t had a chance to share yet. ☺️

Luckily we live in an almost never ending summer so fun in the sun is far from over. ⛅️ But the slower days are done for now. Bring on school — and maybe even a tad bit of peace and quiet during the week! 🚌

Lincoln Lottie turned seven and I am still in disbelief. 🌈 It feels like we were just celebrating her 2nd birthday. Swipe to the end to see baby Lincoln, and her 7th birthday bash.

My sweet girl seems to 7 going on 17. Her attitude and sass make me reallll nervous for the future. But then she’s sweet, loving, funny, and the best big sister to Luna. It’s like please continue to be fierce just not to me. 😂

Lincoln’s birthday falls the week before school starts so it’s usually tricky to plan a party, but this year we made it happen. 🎉 We celebrated at home with sweet friends, a giant water slide with a slip and slide, and sweet treats. 🍦

Are you picking: corn hole, giant Jenga, connect four, swimming, or all? 🌈 We’re soaking up the last bit of summer before school starts next week with all of the above. ☀️ A staycation at was a fun way for our little family to spend time together. Peace out 3rd and 1st grade. ✌🏻 Hello summer!

Thankful for a great year with amazing teachers and friends. 🍎 Lincoln learned the meaning of the word “bittersweet” today. I keep reminding myself they are dealing with a lot of big feelings. We talked about how it’s ok to feel both happy and sad. 🌈

I am soaking up these last weekdays at home with my last baby. 💕 Friday the big kids are out for summer, then this munchkin starts part time preschool in the fall. 🥹 This time of year is bittersweet for sure. Are you ready for summer? 🌤️

My last rainbow baby turned two yesterday. 🌈 🧁 🥹 We celebrated Luna all weekend with our families, and yesterday with friends at a little Bluey party. 🎈

I know it sounds cliche but I truly can’t believe she is two. Time flies SO much faster with the last baby. 🌵 Luna is talking up a storm, has the sweetest giggle, and is 10x tougher than her siblings. She won’t leave the house without sunglasses and is very particular about which pair she wears. 😎

Luna may be two now but she’s very much still a velcro baby — bed sharing, breastfeeding and all about mama. Swipe ⬅️ to the end for an unfiltered look at Mother’s Day. It wasn’t exactly relaxing, and the floor is covered in goldfish. But I am going to soak up all the cuddles while they last. 💕

What is your favorite flower? Y’all know I am a succulent girl, but the Texas bluebonnets are glorious. 🪻 We finally made it out to the bluebonnets this week!

My youngest was hysterical 80% of the time because she wanted to go swimming in the lake in the distance. So Luna spent most of her time on the b**b. But you know I’m not going to turn down a scenic breastfeeding photo. 🩵 Almost two years of nourishing and comforting this last little rainbow babe. Scroll to the end for insta vs reality. 😂

Happy April! 🌸 Hope everyone had a nice weekend! Did you stay put or travel? 🐰 We were at home most of the weekend but visited family nearby for Easter.

Loved watching the girls hunt eggs this year. My lucky charm rainbow babies are ready for spring! 🌈 We got caught in the rain yesterday but it was worth it. How was your long weekend? Everyone here is finally feeling better so we soaked up all the sunshine. ☀️AD Lincoln and Luna are ready for spring adventures in their new water-friendly sandals. 🩵

Planned to post this yesterday but flu happened. 🤷🏻‍♀️ We will be over here snuggling, watching Bluey, and hopefully napping until the big kids come home. Not exactly what I had in mind for today, but it’s still filled with love. 💗

Happy LOVE week y’all. What are you looking forward to this week? ❤️ I am looking forward to everyone in this house finally being healthy!

The last two weeks every single family member has been to the doctor, even dad, some multiple times. 🩺 Swipe to see Luna’s love of stethoscopes, and all the sickies.

I don’t love viruses, flu, sinus infections, fever, flu with strep or flu with ear infections. I don’t love disinfecting everything, extreme handwashing, all the vitamins, then getting sick anyway. 🌵 But I do love the sweet cuddles, extra nursing, sick parents (attempting to) work together, Luna enjoying the doctor and our sweet framily showing us love. 🌈
