KnightMarcher Films is an independent film production and entertainment company established by the multi award winning team Sean Brosnan and Sanja Banic. The duo thrives to create unique and compelling content of diverse styles and genres. The expanding company recently produced its first feature film under the company banner, written and directed by Sean Brosnan. Inspired by the famous Irish play
"Pl***oy of The Western World", written by J.M Synge that was controversial for it's time and had caused riots to ensue. Controversy inspired from a very classic and commercial theme of father/son rivalry. The film is slated for the festival circuit this fall, 2015. The team views each project as an intellectual property that can be adapted for various formats beyond the silver screen and is currently adapting "My Father, Die" to a graphic novel. After a successful tour on the festival circuit, one of their other recent projects, a 30 minute featurette won the director many accolades, including the outstanding new director awards at Hollywood Independent Film Festival (HRIFF) in 2013 and best Screenplay at the prestigious Malibu International Film Festival after having it's premiere on at the opening of London's Raindance Film Festival in 2013. The film can now ordered on Direct TV - The Shorts Film Channel.
