Here is a live mix from my weekly vinyl night at the Verdugo Bar every Wednesday. I open and close the set with a few records, with 4 guest dos in between, djs: Whistleblower, Weaksauce, Mo Love, and Space Honey. It's a mellow mix that includes genres such as jazz, r&b, soul, funk, alternative/new wave/80s, hip hop, instrumentals, and various international cosmic jams.

Hosting a vinyl night every Wednesday at the Verdugo Bar starting at 6pm. Open turntables for vinyl enthusiasts, plus vinyl vendors and a food truck with vegan options. I usually open the night with a dj set and sometimes throw on a couple to end the evening. Shouts to Garrett Kurai and Mark Manahan for djing and being there each weeks! Much love and respect to the homies who have been bringing crates of both overflow and highly curated vinyl for sale, Driptone Records, Vjed Music Books and Stuff, Patrick Billard, Octavio Camacho, and Clinton Chico. Thanks to all the djs who have stopped through to play a set or record tag.

I will be holding down from 7pm-11pm at my weekly vinyl night each and every Wednesday at Verdugo Bar in Glassell Park. We will spinning records and sampling new music with who will have crates and crates of tasty vinyl for sale. The patio is super chill at volume for conversations, and our food truck is mostly vegan. Join us!

For our August edition of Cósmico, we will have Downtown August Brown, or DTAB, as our special guest dj. When he isn’t throwing down fun Disco records with his Liminal Space dance party collective, he keeps himself busy as a journalist for the music section of the LA Times.

We of course will have our resident djs, Tiffany Roth, in between gigs from her global Disco band Midnight Magic, and Joe Manahan who has been on a west coast summer trip digging for new vinyl.

It’ll be hot out, so stay cool with us for a cocktail and great music.
