BricolageTruth is a monographic paper magazine that comprises existing writing, photographs and painted pieces -full or excerpts- from any time of history, which, refreshingly combined, create a whole world of knowledge, insights and sensations that enrich each issue´s guiding topic to the most. The result of this massive “curation exercise” is a 160 pages magazine, intriguingly edited and beautif
ully crafted, containing some of the most interesting excerpts of fiction, essays and visual pieces, all adressing the same subject. The purpose of BricolageTruth is not only to create a piece formally outstanding, but also to make a clear statement:
"Information, as presented today by the media, does not represent any learning for us citizens any more. In fact, timeless knowledge –in the form of plain facts, literature, art, traditions- is still the most valuable information tool to understand, and eventually deal, with the current affairs". Therefore, BricolageTruth will never establish an opinion or dramatize the latest news, but it will explore a contemporary society concern, combining non judgmental perspectives on it -that go from the vitally important to the absolutely banal-, in order to leave room for our readers to build an opinion entirely of their own.
