If you have not experienced the true trauma of Fight AND Flight AND Freeze.... and come out the other side a winner..

You have no place teaching self defence to people who will need to do so to save their own lives..

You may be amazing at your sport, but thats lying to yourself and the students.

I am extremely happy with this course the presentation and structure is brilliant.
I have a couple of questions regarding the way I have previously been taught Combatives from a non-military perspective. I have been taught elbows, knee strikes and hammer fists without the knees down.

I understand the principle of eyes, throat and knees down being the most sensitive areas of the body and the blows to facilitate this- do the other blows I mention are less effective and put you in a more disadvantageous position?

Are hammer fist techniques best suited to tactical pens and tools like short metallic torches? Thanks.

An absolute travesty at the Olympics. Don't look away.

SHE was born with a va**na, and is a woman. Except she does have a medical condition . I THINK ITS WRONG SHE COMPETES IN FAIRNESS BUT SHE'S NOT A MAN.

“Accusations and assumptions about Khelif’s gender status, as well as recent rulings against her participation in international competition, have led many to question why she was included in the Paris Olympics at all. It’s important to note that, per one report, Khelif has a disorder of s*x development (DSD), which means that while she was born a woman, she may nevertheless have XY chromosomes and elevated testosterone levels.

This may be confusing to those who were taught that women have two X chromosomes while men have an X and a Y chromosome. But according to medical experts there are indeed cases of women who have XY chromosomes who are able to give birth.

Khelif is neither trans (as some have misidentified), nor has she seemed to make any efforts to conceal her condition.

She had been cleared to compete for the rest of her career, including in the 2020 Olympics, when she lost to eventual gold medalist Kellie Harrington of Ireland. But last March both Khelif and Taiwan’s Lin Yu-ting were barred from the 2023 World Championships – an event overseen by the International Boxing Association (IBA). She appealed the decision at the Court of Arbitration for Sport but later withdrew, making IBA’s ruling final. It should be noted that the IBA has refused to answer questions about its testing and ruling.

It should also be noted that before the Khelif and Yu-ting rulings, the IBA was suspended back in 2019 by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) amid organizational failures in “governance, finance and ethical issues”. And within months of the disqualification of Khelif and Yu-ting from the worlds, the IOC stripped the IBA of its recognition altogether. That was likely unrelated to this matter, but rather due to concerns over how the IBA operates in general.

The International Olympic Committee, following different rules than those of the IBA, cleared Khelif to compete in the 2024 Paris Olympics, confirming her compliance with all eligibility and medical standards without detailing specifics. The IOC emphasized that Khelif’s gender identity was not a transgender issue.” C/ o boxing scene

Carini abandoned the fight after only 46 seconds in the first round of the Olympic match following two massive punches to the head, after which she said, “This is unjust!” and fell to her knees sobbing in abject humiliation.

Allowing him to compete undermines the integrity of the Games and the values they represent. He forfeited the right to be part of this prestigious event with his actions, and it sends the wrong message to let him participate.

What if he wins a medal? Will he stand on the podium to be applauded and celebrated? This scenario raises serious ethical concerns. The Olympics are meant to showcase the best of human spirit, dedication, and sportsmanship.

Straight TALK- Mind & Muscle Radio Show and Podcast -Major General Gregg F. Martin, PhD, US Army (Ret.), aka the BIPOLAR GENERAL, is a 36-year Army combat veteran, bipolar survivor, thriver, and warrior, and a retired two-star general.

He commanded an engineer company and battalion, and the 130th Engineer Brigade during the first year of the Iraq War.

A former president of the National Defense University, commandant of the Army War College, and commander of Fort Leonard Wood, he is a qualified Airborne-Ranger-Engineer and strategist, who holds degrees from West Point, MIT (two master’s and a PhD), and both the Army and Naval war colleges.

He unknowingly lived most of his life on the bipolar spectrum, which largely enhanced his performance as a leader, until it went too high and ended his career, threw him into crisis, and led to his hospitalization.

Now in his eighth year of bipolar recovery, he is an author, speaker, and ardent mental health advocate, who lives with his wife in Cocoa Beach, Florida. He has three sons, two of whom live with bipolar disorder – an artist and a poet/Special Forces veteran – while the third son is an Army Special Forces officer.

Gregg’s life mission now is sharing his bipolar story to help stop the stigma, promote recovery, and save lives.

Croatia will bring back military conscription, the country’s defense minister has announced.

European countries, most notably Germany, debate reintroducing conscription to address manpower shortages.

Croatian Defense Minister Ivan Anušić made the announcement after a meeting of the country’s National Assembly on Tuesday.

The conscription period is planned to last two to three months, but no further details of the scheme were given.
