Being an introvert isn't a bad thing, it just feels that way sometimes.
I was so shy. I struggled to talk to strangers. I was easily intimidated and overwhelmed by people.
Turns out that I just had to learn how to people my way, and in my time. Thankfully I have the opportunity daily to help other women find their voice and overcome their silence too.
I learned to people by managing my energy and I know you can too.
I'm truly thankful that Deborah Kevin, Writer & Editor shared space with me and listened to my story. She asks really great questions while giving women a space to share their stories on her podcast StorytellHER
Hopefully your holiday is winding down and you can take a few minutes to give this podcast a listen.
**And if you love it, listen to some of the other stories and leave a review.

Is "What If" holding you back when it comes to showing up on social media?
The first thing to remember about social media is that YOU are the boss of your channels, if you think it is too personal or don't feel comfortable sharing your private life or journey that is 100% OK. You get to choose, don't forget that.
Analytics
Important analytics and metrics to focus on to improve your social media, without getting caught up in the numbers game.
Your social media profile on any platform doesn't have to be stuffy! Breathe some life into it that shows us who you are.
I had a great idea for a social media post today that was all about video. I was thinking. I was driving. The idea was there. As soon as I walked into my office and easily got distracted, the idea is gone!
Has that ever happened to you?
For me, ideas in the car happen often but I usually call my mom and ask her to write the idea down for me. I didn't this time!
My revised idea from what would have been the most amazing post about video for social media content is this....
💥Write a list of topics that you can talk about in short snippets.
💥Give yourself a few bullet points to address.
💥Remember it doesn't have to be perfect. (we want you, your story, your ideas or your help)
💥Keep the videos 60 to 90 seconds maximum but they could be shorter that's ok too.
💥Don't say things like "popping on for a moment" or "today I'm going to" just start talking, it is that simple.
💥Record a bunch in one batch. I promise we won't care if you have the same shirt on, we know you haven't been wearing your Gun's & Rose's T-shirt for 8 days in a row. (we hope)
➡️➡️➡️Have fun and most of all if you've been thinking about it now is the time to GO FOR IT.
Have you ever felt overwhelmed trying to keep up with all the different social media platforms out there?
You're not alone. I've been there too and have even cut the cord on a few platforms I didn't love or felt stressful to me.
Consider this: Working consistently with 1-2 platforms while being intentional with your social media is better than trying to be everywhere. Why not focus on where your voice resonates the most? Most likely where you are drawn is also possibly where your ideal clients are hanging out too.
Let's make our social media time intentional, not stressful.
What's your go-to platform?
Engagement is a great way to gain organic reach on social media platforms. Plus, we all know that "comments" feel way better than silence.
Insta stories have been working so great for me lately. Asking simple questions is giving me more engagement than normal.
