Kudos to Julieann Wallace on capturing Meniere's in art; wanted to share her post! - "I have an art exhibition coming up with 3 pieces of art, two of them Meniere's related. This one is called 'Symphony in Blue' and depicts how Meniere's disease stole my hearing in my left ear, and hence my love of music. The music swirls of vertigo notes are obliterated by the blob of deafness, scattering my hearing. When I finished the artwork, I showed my husband and he pointed to the 3rd part and said, 'I can see an ear!', to which I said, 'Oh yeah, I didn't notice that'. I had originally mucked up the big blue blob and tried to fix it with new blobs, using a hair dryer to try and dry the paint. Later on I photographed my artwork, enlarged the ear to look at it closely and discovered a monster skull with sharp teeth! Apt. I've always called my MD the Meniere's Monster. Now I have proof! 🤣"
