There are few in the industry as versatile and prolific as Mr. Bizz. Their career, which now approaches its 15th year, has seen them release on a diverse cross-section of imprints: Sci + Tec, Cocoon, Octopus, Suara, Natura Viva and KATERMUKKE are just the tip of their discography iceberg.
Now they present a 2 tracker that perfectly sums-up their diverse background as they fuse a deep, wonderful warmth with melodic techno power. “The title track, ‘Hidden Truth’, is very much a distillation of our experience over the years,” say brothers Fabrizio and Matteo, “we know people may have specific ideas about what constitutes our native Italian house movement, but for us it has always been about diversity, which maybe ‘hidden’ to some but has always been ‘true’ in our minds. It really is a track designed to bring together various, contemporary styles.”
The beautiful original is further assisted by two men of the moment - Darksidevinyl and Michael Ho**er. DSV brings his unique sound to the party, fusing melodic techno with trademark Afro-rhythms, whilst Michael takes a more progressive path with an infectious arp’ providing the perfect foil to the haunting top line.
‘Entità’ rounds the EP out in emotive style. Slightly deeper, it will likely find a home on the cooler dancefloors, or at those coveted moments as the suns sets or rises. “As we produced this it really did become an entity (Italian - entità) of its own. It definitely belongs to its own space and time,” the duo confirm.

Olivier Giacomotto returns to a revitalised Yosh*toshi Recordings

The term veteran is too often banded around in dance music. But in Olivier Giacomotto’s case it’s deadly accurate. His discography reaches back over a decade, taking in labels such as, Get Physical, Global Underground, Stil Vor Talent, Suara, Einmusika, Eleatics, 3000 Grad and more (much more actually); in between all that he finds time to run Definitive with long time collaborative partner John Aquaviva, all of which is before a touring schedule that’s taken him around the world.

“Olivier has been a close-knit member of the Yosh*toshi family over the years with many phenomenal originals and remixes,” says Sharam, “so it’s only fitting to launch our first release of 2022 with his amazing double A sided release that’s been a massive head-turner in many of my sets”.

Daylight’s Delight / Time Feat. Lady Vale are the dictionary definition of an AA-side; two impeccable slices of melodic techno that force any listener into the difficult position of trying to pick a winner. To say there’s a subjective fly-paper between them would be an understatement, both are rich with Olivier’s sharp production skills and infectious riffs, whilst Time also boasts a vocal courtesy of Lady Vale’s sultry musings.

One of our favorites and the highlight of ’s set 2 years ago at festival in Costa Rica. We were looking forward to hearing it dropped again this week - but unfortunately just cancelled due to covid related government shutdown.

We are hopeful we can hear it again soon in the jungle.

The third and final remix package from the Eddie Amador ‘House Music’ 25th Anniversary trilogy is here, and it’s by none other than @cedricgervais , who has returned to the label in style for this blockbuster event. For those familiar with Yosh*toshi’s rich history, Cedric had a series of amazing releases on the label over 15 years ago before he went onto superstardom. His remix follows the first and second packages by @djsharam and @rivastarr with their own unique (2.5 anniversary) reversions.
