Important Message for Lanzarote Residents and Visitors!
📌AVISO IMPORTANTE:
Endesa anuncia interrupciones en el sistema eléctrico en Lanzarote para el jueves 23 de mayo que afectarán al servicio de abastecimiento de agua a gran parte de la isla.
✅ Canal Gestión Lanzarote y el Consorcio del Agua comunican que los cortes serán desde la medianoche de mañana miércoles, 22 de mayo hasta las 21 horas del jueves, 23 de mayo.
➡️ Estos cortes se deben a las obras de mejora que realizará Endesa en la zona donde se ubica la Central de Desalación Diaz Rijo.
➡️ Desde Canal Gestión Lanzarote y el Consorcio del Agua se ha coordinado
un plan de maniobras que persigue minimizar el impacto que provocará el referido corte energético en los usuarios del servicio.
✅ Ante lo expuesto, y entendiendo las incomodidades que esta situación, ajena a las dos entidades, puede ocasionar, se recomienda a la población que tome medidas preventivas como:
🌐Ahorro de agua: Utilizar el agua de forma responsable y moderada.
🌐Almacenamiento: Si es posible, intentar almacenar agua suficiente durante las horas previas en los depósitos particulares para cubrir las necesidades básicas durante el periodo de interrupción.
🌐Planificación: Organizar sus actividades diarias teniendo en cuenta la posible falta de suministro de agua.
✅ Desde Canal Gestión Lanzarote y el Consorcio del Agua de Lanzarote lamentamos las molestias que esta situación pueda causar y agradecemos de antemano su comprensión.

TECHNICAL FAULT (FM TRANSMISSION) - Thursday 9th May 2024 07:00
Unfortunately, there is a technical fault at the main FM transmission site covering Lanzarote & Fuerteventura. Our technicians are currently investigating.
On line transmission at poweron.fm is unaffected.
We are hoping that the fault should be rectified soon and apologise if you are experiencing difficulty receiving our FM transmission this morning

€76 a year
4 hours a week
(from September to May) quality education at a State School of the Canary Islands Government: SPANISH, FRENCH, GERMAN , ENGLISH
What is the ‘Escuela Oficial de Idiomas?
The EOI is a State School run by The Department of Education of the Canary Islands Government (Consejería de Educación, Universidades, Cultura y Deportes), where you can attend language lessons of Spanish, French, German and English.
Which courses are offered?
In the EOI the study of every language consists of 8 school years, divided into 4 levels of 2 years each:
*Basic Level :A2.1 and A2.2.
*Intermediate Level: B1.1 and B1.2.
*Upper Intermediate Level: B2.1 and B2.2.
*Advanced Level: C1.1 and C1.2.
Except for Spanish as a Foreign Language – C1 is only 1 year.
How to enrol?
Requirements:
English lessons: Being over 16 years old.
** Other languages: Being over 14 years old.
***Those with a certain command of language can take a placement test (according to availability).
Timetable
*From September to May
*Lessons are held in the morning, afternoon and evening (morning levels are: English: A2.1, A2.2, B1.1, and B1.2; Spanish: A2.1, A2.2, in Puerto del Rosario). The rest of levels and languages in Puerto del Rosario, and all the levels and languages in Corralejo and Gran Tarajal, are held in the afternoon and evening.
* Two lessons a week, 2 hours and 15 minutes each.
