Prior to my work editing books, I spent several years at a language-translation company, where I was responsible for both editing of into-English pages and inputting the editors' changes for into-foreign texts. I am particularly adept at taking someone's less-than-perfect English and transmuting it to a clear and accurate representation of the intended text. My bid includes both first pass with Comments and subsequent work. On that first-pass effort, I normally average about 30,000 words a day, and can turn around an average-sized book manuscript (150,000 words) in a week or less.
