Apologies for the image that showed up earlier. My wife and I are driving back from Texas when my phone started blowing up saying my page had been hacked. Hopefully the issue has been fixed.

From the American Revolution museum in Yorktown VA…. Prophecy fulfilled
CS Lewis said the door to Hell locks from the inside. On other words no one is placed there that can’t get out, but the sin in our hearts that remains keeps us not wanting to be in His presence..
“Behold I say unto you, that ye would be more miserable to dwell with a holy and just God, under a consciousness of your filthiness before him, than ye would to dwell with the damned souls in hell.”

Why would Jesus pray to himself? What about Stephen seeing Jesus on the right Hand of God? Is this what it says? How did the ancient culture of the Hebrews see the "right hand of Power"? Why did the High Priest rend his garments when Jesus said he would be seated on the right hand of Power? Join us as we explore these questions and more that we were never allowed to ask

In part 2 we get into specific questions many of us think about but maybe have not been comfortable to ask. Does anyone have authority? Is it a thing? Does it come from the one who lays hands on us? Can we baptize, take sacrament, etc? Have we been given the Holy Ghost? One thing is for sure, God will not leave us alone if we honestly seek Him.
In part 2 we get into asking the hard questions. What do we do now? Who has authority? Should we be baptizing? Can we take and serve sacrament? Matt fro...
An excerpt from my friend Matt Lohrke’s recent article
“Whenever I have presented someone with the recorded words of Jesus that contradict one of Joseph’s revelations or doctrines, that person sides with Joseph Smith. “But Joseph Smith said…” Every time. Without exception. (Or they just ignore it.) Harold Bloom made a similar observation that within Mormonism Joseph Smith “was and is a far more crucial figure than Jesus could be.” This, perhaps more than anything else, is Mormonism’s biggest problem. When it comes to doctrine, Joseph Smith supersedes Jesus Christ.”
A hard statement to believe in deed. But my life experience in the church backs this up. I’ve seen the fall out and anger when the Book of Mormon is quoted and contradicts the Doctrine & Covenants.
Early men , names we all know, distanced themselves from Joseph Smith early on. What could happen with a body of people that returned to the book of Mormon studied it believed it and were changed by the simple Message and Gospel there? Leaving behind traditions that don’t agree.

A Study of Latter-Day Saint Theology, Doctrine and History
Nothing has been more dividing in our short religious history than the idea of authority. Who has the authority to do certain things. Different churches refuse to allow others to do certain things based on a priesthood office now being used or not used. How crazy!! What does the Book of Mormon actually say about authority? Enjoy this multi part dive into “Authority. Who has it and what is it?”

The people we are tomorrow will be the same people we are today without repentance. “Give us this day our daily bread.”
We get a lot of responses about the nature of God. Why would Jesus pray to himself etc. This is one of my favorite short videos about this subject. And it’s a cartoon so it’s fun. The Bible Project is an incredible ministry

There is a lot of talk about becoming one. We are finding it is happening organically by those who are simply returning to the Book of Mormon first and foremost as their guide to following Jesus. Mark Snodgrass , former LDS Bishop is back to join the discussion.

I was going to make this a 2 part episode but the flow and the spirit was such I just couldn’t split it up.
Mark is a great story teller. It only took a few minutes talking with him to realize he is my brother in Christ. As he states he was on a path to serve in many positions in the LDS church. Serving as bishop for a number of years he pastored his local ward. Hear testimonies of healings, a mysterious Book of Mormon that appeared at just the right time, the faith and miracles of his grandmother, his deep love for the people he served, and his undeniable testimony from the Book of Mormon . His leaving the traditions of the LDS for the gospel in the Book of Mormon is a very recent thing and as we see, the Holy Spirit has led him to many of the same conclusions others have been finding by returning to the Word. We are truly blessed to be able to share Mark’s story and the faithfulness of Jesus to answer and lead us to truth when we seek Him.

Discussion on Matt's video Mormon Hingepoint. The death and resurrection of Jesus Christ should have changed everything. Have we in the restoration fallen into the pattern repeated through time where we take God's truth and Word and begin adding man's works and additions? Have we in a sense created our own restoration "laws of Moses"? Have we added doctrines and teachings of men that we hold onto with a tightened fist, enslaving ourselves again? Have we taken the old ways that were made new by Christ and transgressed his simple doctrine by adding to it making it essentially ineffective? Have we done what the pharisees did and become worshippers of our own teachings and culture to prove our own righteousness? We discuss the beautiful resurrection and atonement of Christ and the event that should have changed everything!

We begin a new series on the story of Zion, a New Jerusalem, found in the Book of Mormon. We compare this to the tale of Zion in the restoration church, founded by Joseph Smith. Many traditions and teachings have come forth since 1830 about Zion. But are they correct? Do they agree with the story and prophecies in the Book of Mormon ? Join us as we explore "a tale of two Zions."
