Geography is cool! The Cheyenne Ridge is between the North and South Platte River basins and the Palmer Divide divides the Platte River and Arkansas River drainage basins. There are so many interesting geographic formations in eastern Colorado!

Colorado Meteorologist and Storm Chasers use some geographic names that some may not know. Here's a map to help those of you who may not know where the Cheyenne Ridge or Palmer Divide is.

US National Weather Service Denver/Boulder Colorado has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for the shaded area in Logan county until 3:30. A larger area is under a watch until 9pm.

We are still expecting storms to move into the area over the next few hours. From satellite, we can see the storms starting to fire northwest of our area. These storms will continue to the southeast be in our area around 4 PM MT.

He highlighted fall sports, facilities upgrades, introduced new coaches and staff, mentioned the upcoming Cajun boil fundraiser and invited listeners to buy memberships in NJC state-of-the-art gym facilities.
