During season four, “The Chi” averaged 4.2 million weekly viewers and is on pace to become the most-streamed Showtime series ever, according to the cable channel.

The holes in the walls in the exhibit spaces at the South Side Community Art Center tell the story of a venue that continues to withstand the test of time.

Those holes are the remnants of the artwork of Black creatives over an 80-year span.
