This is why I love the National Reined Cow Horse Association. It is full of great horsemen and horsewomen. Their love and dedication to their trade is only superseded by their appreciation for their horses and fellow competitors.
I love my job, and I feel very fortunate to have the privilege to work with such an amazing group of people. Over the last 10 years I’ve been able to travel the country working some of the biggest events in the western performance horse industry. I’ve been lucky enough to interview and hear the stories of some of the greatest horsemen and women of our time. I’ve been on shoots all over and met so many wonderful people along the way. The kind of people that invite you into their home while on a shoot, and then tell you, “come back for a visit sometime” and truly mean it. This is what is so special about my job, and getting to work on videos like this, with people like Shadd, is one of the biggest reasons why I love it. I’ve made some great friends through all this, and I’m looking forward to the new ones to come.
Huge thanks to Shadd Parkinson (Parkinson Performance Horses) for getting up so early after a show and being a part of this project. For those of you that don't know Shadd, you should. Great Guy.
