At Madrasana, we occasionally experiment with new music genres, and the MadRasana Music Festival 2023 was one such occasion. This show featured The Indian Choral Ensemble (TICE) . Not only was the music different, but its presentation was also unique. The ensemble consisted of nearly 40 singers and four instrumentalists, with the singers spread throughout the auditorium to create a true surround sound experience. Except for the musicians on stage, almost all the singers’ audio was captured using just a pair of microphones placed at the back. You may hear some audience noise, but when listened to on headphones, it provides a full acoustic sound experience. This is getting released on MadRasana YouTube Channel on May 30th 6:30 PM

MadRasana presents ‘Vara Narada” a Live show in association with BIC, Bangalore on Thursday April 25th, at 6:30 PM. All those who registered, you will have your name at the desk and you can give your name you used during registration and gain entry. We are expecting a full house.
Typically considered to be a mischief maker, the role of Narada has often been reduced to that of gest, featuring as a comic relief in mythological stories. However, there is far more depth to his character, as evident in Sanskrit and regional literature. He is a guru, a well wisher and a soul that helps devotees in distress and more. His persona far surpasses the stereotypes that surround him, and this production by Madrasana aims to highlight that. Presented by Vinay Varanasi ( Story Teller), Aditya Madhavan ( Singer), B K Raghu ( Violin), Adamya Ramanand ( Mridangam), ‘Vara Narada’ pays homage to lesser known aspects of the bard through stories and music. The program aims to unravel the layers behind the character, while traversing through stories and supporting music.
