It’s with immense pleasure that we can say Sinego will be DJ’ing at our DTX17 party in Porto.

Sinego is the face of a new generation of Latin dance music. Colombian born, and Mexico based, Sinego’s recently released debut album, Alterego, is an ode to Latin folk music. The album is a journey across the region, blending modern dance aesthetics with the regional genres of a different country for each song. It features collaborators Cucu Diamantes (Cuba, Grammy-nominated), Lucy Vives (Colombia, daughter of Carlos Vives), Fernando Milagros (Chile) & Pahua (Mexico, of Sotomayor), as well as remixes by El Búho.

To add to his list of collaborators is our very own Moullinex and XINOBI, and he has been growing ever closer to DTX, recently releasing ‘Hueso’ in collaboration with Moullinex and having Xinobi Remix ‘El Ritmo (La Noche)’. We can’t wait to see him on September 21st and already consider him part of the family.

DOUBLE DOUBLE are back with a remix from Shubostar and a joint one from Local Su***de & Radondo!

DOUBLE DOUBLE is the joint project of Justin Strauss and Moullinex, born spontaneously when Justin visited the DTX studios in Lisbon, eventually turning into two new tracks, ‘Through This Night’, and ‘Nothing More’, which were released last month.

Now Through This Night’s ethereal original is transformed by rising star Shubostar whose cosmic retro take up’s the stakes in terms of euphoria, cementing it as a dance floor filler while on Nothing More Local Su***de & Radondo join forces raising its pulsating electronica to roof raising levels, transforming it in to an even more club friendly track that packs both of their unique takes on the original.

These remixes continue the collaborative spirit that helped kickstart DOUBLE DOUBLE in the first place.

Xinobi & GPU Panic’s Finite Fields / 500mg is out now!

Together they revisit ‘Infinite City’ & ‘100mg’ on a collaboration which can be seen as exactly that - a joint project - as during its process it became apparent that this wasn’t to be a case of GPU Panic simply remixing two existing XINOBI tracks, but instead be a reinterpretation of the originals with GPU Panic putting such a unique spin on them, at times at a foundational level, that they couldn’t help but hail them as new compositions that rightly carry both of their artistic names.

GPU Panic’s take on Finite Fields sees him maintain much of the emotional core of the original but ups the stakes in terms of euphoria, while 500mg’s smile-inducing melodies carry over from its previous incarnation. Both tracks are further cemented as a peak club dance floor fillers.

Madd Rod marks his return with Sad Behaviour The Remixes PT. 1, which is out now. Revisiting his most recent studio album ‘Sad Behaviour’ with a series of remixes from a group of esteemed artists from Madd Rod’s orbit, including, Yotam Russo, GPU Panic, Bizzarro Universe, Ohxala, and Magupi.

Madd Rod says of the EP: “Sad Behaviour wasn't made for DJs but all of its tracks have dance music elements that could be easily re-interpreted by someone with a dancefloor mindset. This was the idea behind this batch of remixes - to broaden the albums sphere and include takes on different genres, with each remixer being given full creative freedom to explore my stems.”

Moullinex △ GPU Panic’s relentless rate of releases thankfully shows no signs of slowing down and they are back with ‘Jade’.

‘Jade’ was born remotely between Mexico City and Istanbul. As Luis (Moullinex) and Gui (GPU Panic) bounced ideas back and forth, they realized both cities were under a heavy storm, and the music was at times driven and melancholic too. Moody while hopeful, dense but clear: probably influenced by the heavy rain seen from the hotel rooms’ windows.

DOUBLE DOUBLE were born very spontaneously. The joint project of Justin Strauss and Moullinex came to be when Justin visited the DTX studios while he was over as a special guest for Moullinex’ DISCODRAMA hometown show. Justin, noticing upon entry a toy piano that had recently appeared in the studio lobby, started playing around with it and creating ideas to which Luis (Moullinex) said “Wait let’s record that”, and thus began the inspiration for these two tracks. They started with ‘Nothing More’, whilst ‘Through The Night’ took shape on Justin's return visit. Though very different in style, both songs incorporate their love of music and influences, and open the door for future collaborations.

Out now on all digital platforms and on 12” limited edition vinyl with artwork by Bráulio Amado and photographer Michael Marcelle, with these original versions coupled with a pair of, soon to be announced, special remixes - Listen / Pre-order it at the link below, including DOUBLE DOUBLE stickers that you can have fun placing on your copy yourself (Separate stickers for pre-orders only).

“Nervosita” is a neologism that means relaxing in chaos, seeing it as a fertile ground for experimentation and pushing boundaries. Written in the early morning hours after a show, this track came about very naturally in catharsis, and the result is as immediate as therapeutic, a power only the very best techno music can have.

With his debut EP ‘Hold’ still fresh and making waves, Vallechi re-emerges with brand new music in the form of ‘U Need’. ‘U Need’ couldn’t have asked for a better start with both the track and Vallechi already being touted in a recent ‘Emerging Talent’ feature on DJ Mag, this is what they had to say:

Vallechi - Hold Re-Imagined, Vol. 2 is out now featuring re-imagines from James Flower and NICØ.

James Flower’s and Vallechi’s mutual love and respect of each other’s work is apparent, making James Flower an obvious choice to add his unique take on such a fundamental track as he adds: “‘Hold’” has been on my mind since it got released. It’s such a beautiful emotional track, so when I was remixing it, I tried to put a bit of my soul in it too”.

Of his unique take of ‘Liberdade’, (which translates as ‘Freedom’), NICØ says: “Sharing and collaboration are among the purest forms of freedom. Individual progress only occurs when there's enough courage for intellectual sharing. If so, one must deconstruct what is already known, to construct something new.”

This marks Diana Oliveira's third outing with the label and overall as she takes on Moullinex & Xinobi’s ‘Extinction Event’, their "musical interpretation of the apocalypse” which results in an energetic blend of Techno and House as they contemplate dancing in the face of the apocalypse.

It’s a pivotal track on their joint trajectory and a landmark release for the label, as well as being a real statement from Diana Oliveira as she prepares a new studio album due in early 2024.

With his debut EP ‘Hold’ still fresh and making waves across the electronic music scene, Vallechi now revisits it with Hold Re-Imagined taking in remixes from label mate and collaborator GPU Panic, on ‘Emotional Patches’ and newcomer Semoto, on ‘Perception’.

GPU Panic says of his Re-Imagine: “Vallechi's Emotional Patches was for me already a perfect moody and intense trip, I’ve really just tried to make it clubbier for those intense moments of the night where bpm's can go wild and you can stretch it a little bit.”

Of his, Semoto says: “When I first heard the song, there was an element that hypnotized me: the rhythm and harmony of the Cs-80 synth. It has such an interesting rhythm, that pushes things forward and makes the song lift you from the ground. The notes and the sound bring a sense of melancholy and tension, even on it’s own when you only listen to it. With my remix, I wanted to take the rhythm of this original synth line and marry it with a breakbeat/bouncy beat, and an omnipresent bass that supports the song and brings balance with long-held notes. Then I explored that initial Cs-80 note pattern with different synths and textures and tried to create an emotional story, with a beginning, an evolution, a climax, and a resolution. To me, it represents moments in life when we start owning our experiences, good or bad, and make them a part of us. Overall, I tried to bring an answer to the elements of melancholy and tension so well evoked by Vallechi on Perception.”

Komilev is the latest addition to the Discotexas family! He’ll be making his debut on the label with his new 'Turn The Sun' EP this Friday October 13th - Pre-Save it at the link below and give Komilev the welcome he deserves.

Originally from Ukraine, Komilev, who now lives in Spain. Already signed to labels such as Watergate Records, Disco Halal, Engrave LTD, Frau Blau and Rebirth, his bold and creative sound has gained the respect of many in the electronic music community. He’ll be right at home on DTX.

We are thrilled and immensely proud to be releasing Madd Rod’s second studio album, 'Sad Behaviour'.

Over it's 10 tracks 'Sad Behaviour' is a genre-defying sonic journey. A recurring theme on the album and a trademark of the artist's sound, it blends nostalgia and innovation, crafting a sci-fi soundscape of what could have been the future.
