Walked 3 miles and burned 448 calories, and got to enjoy our city Bicentennial Parade this morning in Tecumseh, Michigan. Also spotted my stepfather enjoying the parade like a cute little kid…and he never even knew I was there. Check it out, and happy birthday Tecumseh❣️

Today, on the 103rd anniversary of my grandma Janice’s birth, I shared my walk instead with my own mama. I did not make my usual video. Instead, I chatted with her. It was 3.3 miles of sharing grandma memories, joy, nature, laughs and love. So here’s a younger grandma Janice (my mom’s mama), and then us today. Happy birthday, Grandma. 🩵

6/16/24 On my walk this morning I thought I found a perfect Father’s Day gift, until closer inspection…😳😂 Walked 3 miles and burned 474 calories but I also feel violated.
A very hot 3.37 mile walk, burned 497 calories. Felt like I got a bit cheated because it was much harder than 497 calories worth, but whatever. I had some things to say about that…and…watch to the end because I tried to save a turtle. 🤣
Walked 2.5 miles, burned 400 calories. These city deer are afraid of nothing, so I had to tell her who is boss.

Some days are harder than others. Chronic pain is no joke. Feeling like your bones are about to snap with each step isn’t just frightening, it flat-out HURTS in ways I can’t describe with human verbiage. I’ve walked many a walk with tears rolling out of my eyes but when I feel good, I do the smiling videos. Other days you just get pics like this. Don’t underestimate me, though. I still do it.
There’s something weird about bugs and Michigan, and I have something to say about that. Walked 2 miles, burned 276 calories.
Not the best walk, and I have something to say about that. Walked 2.4 miles, burned 387 calories. Most of those calories probably came from the spider web dance. 😱😁
He clearly thought I was fixin’ to rob the joint, and I have something to say about that. 🥸 Tonight’s walk was 2 miles, burned 291 calories. Not enough…I need to do better.
The mosquitoes are feasting. I have something to say about that. (walked 1.93 miles, burned 303 calories)
Nice walk tonight…and made a discovery. So that means I had to make a Krista chat. 🤣😝
Wanted to collapse but I had to get back home. Not quite conditioned enough yet for 2 miles. It’ll be a long time before I’m back up to a 4-mile hour, but that’s ok. It’ll be exciting to get there again!
