This is one of the original Shortys Snowboards. It was apparently found in a pile of rubbish on the curb. It now hangs on the wall at the Carpinteria Skateshop. What a score! Unfortunately due to my crappy photo, you can’t read that it actually says “Little” and not “Shorty’s” because when Tony first started Shorty’s Snowboards, he called it Little Snowboards, then thought better of it and went with the already established name of Shorty’s (hardware). What a life we’ve lived!

I was looking for the footage of Kendall ollieing the Mission steps dressed as The Flying Nun (you know, because Halloween) but it’s buried somewhere. Found this clip instead which is one of my favorite tre flips. Something about a 360 kickflip going frontside just does it for me. Maybe because it’s a rare one… Also, go try and skate that hip. 😂😤 #treflip #skateboardstories @theartistbenkendall
