On this episode DISMORPHIA comes all the way from Dallas Texas to cause destruction and mayhem on the Eclipse stage. This band is heavy AF! Great songs, great sound, great all around performance. Bass and drums are solid, guitars are tight and the cookie monster vocals that we can’t understand whats being sung. Who cares whats being sung it sounds evil AF and so does the music. With all that being said all together this band is a group of really swell guys. Follow them online buy their music and march etc. etc.

Today we bring you EXIST TO INFECT the Valencia County Band that brings hard a hitting mixture of hardcore metal and punk to the Eclipse stage. I like their in your face approach to this performance. The songs are bad ass and they have a great sound overall. Always a pleasure to have these guys play our stage and as we get closer to the end of the year I will promise you this isn’t the last you will see from EXIST TO INFECT.

Today SASHA GULEFF and his band take the stage and bring a whole new set of songs that are beyond incredible.The music has dynamics, originality and well thought out. The guitars change from heavy rhythms to almost surf guitar sounds. The drums and bass are on a completely different level and of course I have to say Sasha is probably the most energetic front man this stage has ever seen. I have to admit this band is good. Really good… Now one of my favorite local bands. I’m glad to have been able to capture this performance for all the world to see. What do you think of SASHA GULEFF?

On this episode We bring you the return of LOADED HIPPIES a band that I label as a punk band. Every song is hard hitting and fast. There’s no complex breaks or massive solos just straight up three chord in your face distortion with screaming vocals. This is a band that delivers a great performance every time they take the stage. On this episode we bring you a stellar performance from WHITNEY PEYTON. From the moments the lights come on until the final bow WHITNEY is in total control of this crowd. This was a highly anticipated show. I did check out a couple of music videos on YouTube but I wasn’t sure what to expect. During sound check I was thinking this girl is tiny (maybe 5ft. tall) but when the music started for the show WHITNEY grew ten feet tall. Literally… She blew this place up and even stood on top of the crowd! This is a top notch performance from a top notch performer. I suggest turning this one up and enjoy this bad ass performance!

Today PROJECT BC takes over the stage and brings a hard hitting setlist of metal songs. These songs are fast, furious and heavy guitar driven. The vocal switch from deep growls to sweet singing voice. There are some backing tracks mixed in the songs as well. I like PROJECT BC their energy and presentation is addictive. This band is like a well oiled machine that commands you to get in the pit and mosh. Let me know what you think of this performance in the comments below. On this episode SIMIAN BREED sets up a table full of electronic magic and the chimp rips the crowds faces off. This Electronic musician morphs from chimp to man back to chimp during his performance. Over all the beats are dope, the music is doper and the vocals are creepy like a horror movie voice whispering “get out” in your ear. I’m convinced that SIMIAN BREED is a great musician. Anyone can play a drum machine and synth board but it takes a brilliant musician to make these instruments sound bad ass. Or, maybe it takes a man/monkey integration to create bad assness like SIMIAN BREED! What is your opinion? Are we at the dawn of planet of the apes? Let me know down below.

Today PARANORMAL SLAUGHTER takes the stage as a two piece band. They bring a raging guitar, pounding drums and deep growling vocals. As usual I can’t always understand what is being sung but I will assume the subject matter is full of paranormal destruction. The songs are full of great guitar riffs and the drummer holds his own. My only criticism is the guitar at times gets a little thin sounding but that can be remedied by adding a bass or another guitar. I think the songs are good and I like the logo as well. Today I bring you one of my all time favorite New Mexico bands SECRET EARTH. This is a three piece band that brings a huge sound that took some magical creativity to put together. With eight string guitars and backing tracks I don’t think there is many bands heavier than these guys. The singer has a brutal battle cry that is way more violent than any cookie monster vox out there. This is a band to be reckoned with. This is a band that is somehow flying way under the radar. This is a band that deserves your support. This is SECRET EARTH! Please let me know what you think of SECRET EARTH. Today TOLLS from Eugene Oregon take the stage and play a blistering set of songs that has crossover punk, hardcore and some Metalcore all mixed into one performance. The singer/bassist uses a brutal angry powerful voice while strumming notes out of the bass. Guitar is filled with heavy riffs as melodic chord arpeggios are executed with precision. I’m just going to say the drummer is a total bad ass. He switches from boochie boochie to technical metal beats and throws in that heavy two step mosh beat to keep the music heavy AF! On this episode we bring you VIENTRE a Columbian band that now resides in Los Angeles. This band brings an emotional ambient sound that uses sonic dynamics to give the singer/guitarist a platform to switch from death curdling screams to melodic singing. I don’t know what the singer is shouting but I don’t think it matters. This performance is like a painter painting a portrait with dark dreary colors in a drooping world of pain and destruction. One thing I will say is that I felt all the darkness and pain they projected towards this crowd and it reminded me that tomorrow will be a better day. On this episode SCUMHOLE takes the stage and brings a barrage of high energy punk rock that goes from heavy to almost experimental rage. This is a multi instrument playing band (not sure if they really know how to play any of them) as they all play musical chairs and switch instruments in-between songs. There’s also a sound byte to listen to. I think the point is to be obnoxious with feedback and little effort playing as possible. The highlight of the performance is a blistering saxophone solo that comes completely out of nowhere. Can he actually play the sax or was that just another attempt at creating a soundscape of insanity? We may never know. Not sure what I just witnessed and I would appreciate a comment on your take of SCUMHOLE. Let me know in the comment section below.

On this day Portland band QUEEN CHIEF step on the stage with their native spirit, native drums and an indigenous sound that is definitely their own. This group consists multiple vocals, keyboards, two killer sounding Gibson SG Guitars, awesome talent on the bass, one traditional native drum and a full kit with top notch beat masters laying down the foundation. The songwriting is amazing and the music is very original. This band deserves to be heard and I am now a huge fan of QUEEN CHIEF. I suggest you look them up, buy their music, spread the word and buy their merchandise!
Stay with them till the end for the best version of Hank Williams Kaw-Liga I’ve ever heard. What do you think of QUEEN CHIEF? Let us know.

Today SNUFFED ON SIGHT takes the stage and pounds out some huge monster guitar riffs and crazy heavy rhythms. Now I have to admit I think the singer sounds more like squealing swine being led to the slaughterhouse but it seems to fit the music perfectly. Maybe the music represents what it sounds like in a slaughterhouse and the vocals is the sacrificial future slab of bacon. Just close your eyes and I’m sure you will agree. I don’t know. On this episode SECURE THE VOID sets up and brings their heavy melodic metal riffs to the stage. With huge guitar sound and solid bass and drums this band gives the singer an awesome landscape of music to scream over. Although they are using backing synth tracks at some point they turned them off and killed it with just the live band. Total professionalism from this group of guys. They have a great sound and it didn’t matter that there was a technical issue. I still enjoyed the performance and I think you will too. Let us know what you think.

On this episode Phoenix Az. band AMERICAN STANDARD takes the stage with a high energy pounding setlist of songs. These guys are just straight up bad asses. The guitar sounds like a freight train rolling through your living room, The frontman vocals are brutal and he doesn’t let up until the last note. The guitarist also screams some brutal back up vocals too. I have to throw out mad respect to the bass and drum combo because they lay down that solid foundation that allows this band to sound as bad ass as they do. This is kind of a short and sweet but very memorable performance. I am a new fan of AMERICAN STANDARD what say you? Let me know what you think in the comments below.

On this episode I bring you ATLAS/BELOW a three piece band that combines backing tracks with a heavy guitar and drum foundation. Technically, its not that simple because the music is very ambient and somewhat progressive with solid singing and screamo vocals by the guitarist and the frontman. All the songs are well written and they throw a couple of cover songs in this set as well. Today BONEWORKS brings their dueling vocalists to scream some dark evil sounding vocals. I’m not sure if its really evil maybe its up too your interpretation. The rest of the band is heavy as the two drop tuned bowel crushing guitars chug out wicked riffs. The drums sound like troops marching into battle with machine gun blast beats of terror. These guys are brutal. Maybe too brutal for the whole month of October. None the less I think its a perfect fit to kick off the month of October. What do you think of BONEWORKS? On this Episode ITAMI returns to give us another stellar performance. When it comes to Hardcore Metal these guys are one of the best anywhere. With a powerful voice and killer front man this band has a sound like no other. The guitar tone is heavy, in your face and dialed in to perfection. The bass and drums are solid and lay down rhythm more solid than concrete. ITAMI is definitely one of my favorite bands and like I said one of the best bands around. On this Episode we bring you BLOOD SKID from San Antonio Texas. This four piece band is aggro AF and never let up from the start of the show until the very last note. This band is punk AF too. Fueled by whiskey and w**d these guys owned the stage and nailed the performance. The singer screams the whole set and I don’t know how he doesn’t throw his voice out before the end of the set. The rest of the band is tight and has a very original punk style. This show is their first time out of Texas and I hope they come back to the eclipse soon. Today SELF NEGLECT plays an energetic set of songs with a message. I’m not sure what that message is but they put on one heck of a killer show. The singer/frontman blindfolded his self and moshes on the floor during his performance. I would consider this band a punk rock band with some crossover metal tendencies. Now the question I have is how much can the singer see. He walks around like he has no trouble seeing at all. So the question is asked; Is he really blindfolded?
