During the winter choral concert in the auditorium on Dec. 14, Allie Collett, Niki Alexis, and senior Amanda Ley perform “Winter Trees” by the Staves. Ley has been in the concert since freshman year and said she will miss it. “My favorite memory probably was when the stage crew had these snowflake reflections on the walls,” Ley said. “All the reflections were kind of moving around the auditorium, and it just looked like a big winter fest.”

Waiting for a cue from their conductor Mr. Brian Boron, freshman Chad Park, junior Meghan Noe, and sophomore Joanna Choe hold their instruments during the winter band concert on Dec. 5. Noe said she chose to play oboe because it’s a really unique instrument. “It’s known to be one of the harder instruments to play,” Noe said. “It takes a while to develop a good sound but it’s worth it because once you get to the point where you sound really good, it's worthwhile.”

Acting in their first Improvaganza! show on Nov. 18, junior Julia Bundy and freshman Lukas House play four corners. Bundy said members play different games and build off of each other in each scene. “We get really close,” Bundy said. “Even when other people are practicing and you’re just sitting there, it’s interesting, it’s funny, and you’re laughing along with them.”
