Per Andrew Marchand of “The Athletic”, Robert Griffin III, better know as RG3 has been fired by ESPN. Griffin III, who was considered as a rising star for ESPN with both his NFL and college football commentary, had 2 years remaining on his contract. Officials at ESPN declined comment.

The San Francisco Giants announced Hall of Famer Willie Mays died at the age of 93.
Josh Dubow of the Associated Press relayed a quote from Mays’ son, Michael, that said, “My father has passed away peacefully and among loved ones. I want to thank you all from the bottom of my broken heart for the unwavering love you have shown him over the years.”
MLB commissioner Rob Manfred also released a statement, saying that Thursday’s game between the Giants and St. Louis Cardinals at Rickwood Field in Birmingham, Alabama, will feature a pregame ceremony to honor Mays.
Rickwood Field was home to the Negro Leagues’ Birmingham Black Barons, a franchise that produced the likes of Mays, Satchel Paige and Mule Suttles.

Thompson unfollowed the Warriors and deleted almost all team-affiliated posts dating back to April 2022, as noticed by fans and reported by SFGate’s Gabe Lehman.
The deleted posts included Thompson’s post from the Warriors’ 2022 title run.
