Winds are starting to creep up a little bit as of 1pm, but the bulk of the wind comes between 9pm tonight and 8am tomorrow. Strongest wind gusts occur after midnight. Looking ahead again to tomorrow night where our winds will be rather gusty. A clipper-like system will be diving down from the Great lakes and as it interacts with the coast it's going to begin to strengthen rather quickly. This rapid intensification is going to increase the winds being wrapped around it which will cause our area to feel those gusty winds. Wind gusts will be strongest from Western Nassau on east with wind gusts of up to 60 mph on the East end not out of the question. If you still have your boat in the water, just double check those lines.

Tomorrow morning the winds will be light and variable but will begin to increase as the day goes on so if you haven't taken down some of those lighter decorations, nows your chance!
