Instagram.com/Youshaei Who said the Super Bowl is the only time to discuss amazing commercials? Let's face it: ads have a bad rep. Like, a lot.
Welcome to Admazing, the show where we analyze the best & worst commercials to find out what makes a great ad. But they don't have to be annoying. When done right, they can be inspiring, funny, and entertaining. After working at YouTube for 5 years, I've seen a lot of ads. I've been fascinated by the psychology, creativity, and copywriting behind them. So I thought it'd be fun to create a show whe
re we discuss all that and analyze commercials on a scale of Admazing to Adtorcious. Follow for new episodes every week.

Haha ballin' on a budget 💰
How much money does it cost to reach 7,000,000 subscribers on YouTube?
I asked Eric "Airrack" Decker who said he took out loans to get there (link below). Here's what we covered in our interview:
- How much Airrack spent per video to get started (he got candid about exact dollars)
- How he created a wedding business to de-risk becoming a YouTuber (and other processes Airrack uses)
- How to script the first seconds of your videos for max engagement
- What he wrote in DMs to huge creators to get responses
And more. Airrack’s hustle is inspiring but his systems and strategies are what really make him unique.
Hopefully you learn as much from this interview as I did.
Confession: if I’m late to a meeting, now you know why 😂

TikTok is testing “clear mode” for de-cluttered viewing.
What that means for creators:
- No visibility into audio used
- More room for text in videos
- Less emphasis on captions
My take: fewer distractions will lead to longer viewer sessions but creators will ultimately have less control of where to drive their audience
This Bumble ad from last year is too good 🔥
Mind blowing stat: it takes 3,873 videos to hit 1M subscribers on YouTube (on average, according to TubeBuddy )
But it only took Eric "Airrack" Decker 58 videos 🤯 in 1 year
I interviewed him and made a video and wrote a Forbes article about how he did it (links below👇)
Love this 🚀
So true 💪
Haha this is too good 😅
I remember feeling like life was over when I got a bad grade in school…
Can we all agree to not put that same pressure on future generations? 🙏
I can’t count how many times I’ve been overwhelmed by a daunting goal.

Throwback to this killer ad that HBO did for The Sopranos last season 😵
Growing up, I was bullied about how many questions I asked during class.
"Why do you ALWAYS raise your hand?" - some of my peers asked me. "Are you dumb?" - others would tease.
I felt so ashamed that I stopped asking questions for a while. I felt "cooler" in front of my peers. But my grades slipped.
One of my teachers noticed. He took me aside and said: "Keep asking questions. The worst thing you can do is stay silent when you struggle."
I took that advice to heart and worked my butt off every chance I got. It's not because I'm smart. It's because I'm not afraid to look dumb.
As the proverb says: "He who asks a question is a fool for 5 minutes. He who doesn't ask remains a fool forever." Don't be a fool forever.
If you're struggling, speak up.

Happy Mother’s Day ❤️
Love how Chanel used drawings from kids for their moms for this campaign
Hahaha Ziploc keeps things fresh.
Brilliant ad 🔥
A great manager makes all the difference.
They know how to light a fire under your butt without burning you out.
They don't just preach "work life balance." They practice it.
As a kid of immigrants, this really hit home ❤️
"She's the worst," he whispered.
He was trash talking about one of my close friends. It caught me off guard because they had always been friendly.
At that point, I had two choices: nod politely or defend my friend.
"You don't know her like I do,” I said. “She's actually an awesome person. Maybe you caught her on an off day."
I don't think I changed his mind. But I had to say it. I can't stand fake people. They compliment you when you're around. But criticize when you're not.
Real friends do the opposite. They tell you when you mess up. They help you grow. Feedback is a gift. But you can't act on it if you don't hear it.
Embrace failure, it’s a part of success

So true.
Creators have to wear SO many hats to make it
A flight attendant once gave me great advice.
He said: “Put on your oxygen mask before helping others.”
No really. That's it. Think about it. It’s a great metaphor for life.
When I ask people about their passions, many say: "I'm passionate about helping others!” It sounds nice but it's totally misguided.
The real question is how will you help others?
What do you have to offer? You can help more people if you help yourself first. Invest in yourself. Develop your skills. Take care of yourself.
Most people think that's selfish. But actually it's MORE selfish to only think of others. You end up not being able to help them as much as you could if you honed your talents.
Secure your oxygen mask. Otherwise you'll burn out.
Imagine you're Michael Jordan.
No really. Just imagine for a moment.
You're on the NBA's best team at the time: the Chicago Bulls.
Now imagine you're having an off game. You're missing shots. You're playing lousy defense. The crowd is booing you.
Your coach, Phil Jackson, has two choices:
A) Phil can encourage and guide you to regain your confidence
B) Phil can strip off his clothes, put on a Bulls uniform, and tell you to take a seat so he can play instead!
What should happen? In basketball, it's A. But in the business world, it's too often B. That's micromanagement in a nutshell.
Too many managers think they're players when they're supposed to be coaches. It's not their fault. Companies promote star individual contributors.
But that doesn't mean they'll be star managers. If your manager is itching to get in the game, tell them to keep their clothes on.
You were hired for a reason. You're smart and capable. Work for someone who believes in you instead of belittles you.
I just moved to LA. and this couldn't be more true 😂
