Storyline
ZENZILE THEMBELA (35), is a terminally ill novice fashion designer, struggling with mental illness in the confines of her Johannesburg home. When another family member dies, Zenzile makes yet another attempt on her life. Aunt Bheka, her estranged maternal aunt, who’s lived life colorfully, rebukes Zenzile lovingly, and insists she must find what to live for. Zenzile discloses her dream to launch her Afro-centric fashion label and make a mark at NYC Fashion Week. She must now convince her aunt to grant her last wish to emigrate to Toronto under the care of Pebbles, her aunt’s ex-lover.
