Friends Like Me Friends Like Me is an experimental media project that seeks to document children and adolescents as they grow up and make sense of their digital childhood.

Friends Like me is an experimental media project that seeks to learn from children and adolescents by documenting them speaking at different ages, about their experiences of growing up in a digital childhood. Manuela Maiguashca (Director) is a media activist who has taught media to hundreds of students over the last decade. She has seen, first hand, how social media apps and filmmaking tools have

become a fundamental part of how young people learn, socialise, explore their identities and engage with the world. This project grew out of her experiences co-creating media with children and teenagers. The project aims to address a gap in communication between parents and children over digital habits and experiences.
