"“Spiritual Void” is cast from the mines of grindcore with its short song lengths, blistering tempos, filthy guitars and tendency to promote chaos over all. The voice channels early hardcore as it focuses on slabs of oppression rather than any melodic distractions and, at times, immerses itself within the breakdowns and blasts to fuse the spirit of crust punk with the blatant aggression of early death metal. There are vibes here that lack in many grindcore offerings as well as the imperative heaviness and, ultimately, leaves a trail of destruction where many others fail. We are all essentially alone but, within “Spiritual Void”, there is a sense of unity in solitude."
