Our story...
"India Caregiver Support Services" was founded in 2015 by Mr. Brian Mertz. Brian first became involved with caregiver issues after his father was diagnosed with Dementia in 2013. Two years later, Brian's mother (who was also her husband's primary caregiver) was diagnosed with Brain Cancer and passed away in June 2015. From these experiences, Brian has become a caregiver advocate and encourages paid caregiver employment as a solution to the quietly increasing family caregiver crisis.
The World Caregiver Network's mission is to help three different individual groups simultaneously by promoting paid caregiver employment opportunities. These groups are 1) the elderly who need help, 2) their family caregivers and 3) the unemployed who are interested in paid caregiver employment.
