✰ When and why did you join Her Campus FIU?
“I joined HerCampus Fall 2021, in the beginning of my Sophomore year. It was towards the end of quarantine and the start of in person classes and I wanted to learn something new. In my previous clubs I hadn’t gotten the full technical experience of being behind the scenes in organizing events so when I saw a Treasurer position on the application form, I just went for it! ”

✰ What was your favorite memory?
“After designing shirts, setting up event displays, and even writing about anything I wanted, I became extremely comfortable and decided I didn’t want to leave. Now I am Vice President of Her Campus and every meeting there is something new, something fresh, something interesting to talk about. ”

✰ Any advice for future applicants?
“All of our members bring in a variety of thoughts and opinions where we regularly share and discuss them. Something simple or complex, nothing is too much, and I love that. For anyone that needs that breath of fresh air, Her Campus opens those vast and wide horizons. Learn, enjoy, create. That’s what we do. ”
